ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hearing that a couple of new players are already signed but not announced, which perhaps suggests that they are underwhelming names.

Not sure why the club would hold back such announcements unless they were concerned about fan backlash?

I hope it`s because they are not in the country at the moment.
I have it on very good authority that there are at least 4 more players to come....:vhappy:
Not sure of the quality though:tinfoilhat:

Got the same feeling from MM interview on NBN the other day Agreed and signed but doesn't start until later in pre season. Not unusual for us in regards to trying to save the money spent but then puts the squad at a disadvantage especially if they are starting 11 players

If the new signings aren't available to play then it'd make sense to hold off announcing them until after tomorrow nights game.
It'd either add to the excitment of winning so as to create a sense of momentum or be a source of hope and distraction after a flat defeat.

You would think that would be Millar and Macdonald. Then you have the Brazilian striker/Dutch striker/English striker, O'Neill and ...

That's how I see it too. Millar, Macdonald and O'Neil seem certainties.

The striker position is the one I have the most anticipation and optimism over. That's the trigger to bring back the fans, I just hope there's enough in the kitty to get us a crowd pleaser. If we get an under performing striker that can only score 3 a season, another spoon will be coming.

I think the trigger to bring back the fans will be someone who hasn't played a pro game in his life unfortunately. Lets hope we get a striker along the likes of Bent as well.

Millar is a mariner, there was a guy getting photos with the kids at the mariners training holiday camp , who was a dead ringer.

Shitful is about right , if bad goalkeeping was a crime , Izzo would have multiple felonies and Nash would be charged as an accomplice
He had a tough time here....but you could see he was going to be good. Or at least i could. Last season for the reds he was possibly the best in the comp. If we had kept him for another couple of seasons i'm sure we would be talking differently. Wall set up is obviously a problem but thats just a technical issue that is resolves with good coach.

Pain & Kekeris are both listed as forwards on the CCM website. Someone also mentioned Jesse Canning having left the club but don’t know if that has been confirmed.
