All I can say is that there is an underused Australianism that sums his move up, f**ken dickhead.
Too many young guys in the league have a full season, not even a great season and think they're hot shots. They go overseas and rot, or not even make it.

Have to say I personally agree wholeheartedly with the above post. The A League is now good enough to serve young Australian players with a sound apprenticeship in the professional game but all too often, those same players think they have done their time after one or two seasons. Some will be good enough to go onto better things (like Rogic for instance) but they will be the exceptions in truth.

My own professional apprenticeship was for four years and there were no short cuts, so perhaps this is something these kids might do well to bear in mind. They should also think themselves lucky they don't have to still clean the senior players' boots, like they did back in the good old days!

Has only signed a one year deal with the Nix under a coach who has plenty of experience in Holland, probably fancies his chances of getting a dutch gig next year if he goes ok under Kalezic. Most likely paid him more than we would also.

Yeah reading the announcement runs along those lines. Sounds like the coach recruiting by saying i have connections to where you want to be

Given we have as per page one 17 players maybe 16 if Harry Ashcroft is gone.... De Silva makes 17, hopefully Glover is 18, ... we still have a few to go including maybe a marquee ...

FFA lifted their offer to the clubs today to 3.55 million, meaning we have an extra 300K to spend .

If Glover is staying with Spurs then we have 17 players .

I think the plan will be to have Tommy H mentoring Berry or L.Rose. McGing is proficient there too, think we will be ok there. We still lack creativity in the midfield. With Baro at the back we will be alot stronger there, which will take pressure off the DM's a bit. Still lot's of recruiting to do so let's wait and see.
