I am disappointed as well. I really rated this guy - and he is a very likeable young guy as well. He also did well and was well thought of with the WSW NYL side. I hope he kicks on somewhere - it just would be disappointing if it was at the jets.
As was noted elsewhere they do not have a spot open. Maybe the squad has released him since they can't bank on him at this stage and it also gives him the opportunity to look elsewhere. Optimistically there maybe an opportunity for him to re-join if he can prove his fitness in the next two or three months.

Given we have as per page one 17 players maybe 16 if Harry Ashcroft is gone.... De Silva makes 17, hopefully Glover is 18, ... we still have a few to go including maybe a marquee ...

The proposal came with significant conditions on how an additional $300,000 could be spent. It's understood the governing body was willing to grant the clubs extra funding for the purpose of marketing, but only with the agreement of head office on how the clubs intended to use the additional money.

I wonder if it's time to see what Lyall Gorman is up to and say bye bye to most of the board and gallop. Get some genuine football people in, not charlatans with some business background.

Also may have left to go o/s and therefore we had to pull the offer and went and filled it and now don't have room but very disappointing to see him in the A League but not with us. Couldn't get a game with MV then plays every game for us.

Yeah this one makes no sense to me tbh. I can understand that he wanted to trial with Willem II but when that didn't happen, I would have thought PO would've taken him back.
Maybe it was a money thing, as surely no-one would see a move to the Nix as an upward one?
