ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wonder what plan is for 2nd LB. had him pencilled in, in my mind. Golec maybe and sign another CB.
Or is there a yoof player who looks the goods?
Also doesn't bode well for bingas. Hasn't been reported as having a new contract.
Haven't all the rumours been about Rosey coming back?

Binga's re-signing was announced the same time as Pearce... back on 6 April

Always thought that Izzo was an Adelaide boy and wanted back, not that I mind as I still remember the Izzo of 15/16.
A year ago most fans would have swapped him for Cisak in a heartbeat.

While I can't talk about his youth team performances our academy captain is the left back Steve Whyte. He was in a few match day squads at the end of last season.

He was happy to stay, club wouldn't meet his valuation (which was apparently a very minimal upgrade to bring him inline with other starting keepers) and Adelaide made an offer. Now we have Kennedy & Pearce signed, and someone that has "chosen to play at League One/Two Level" rather than fight for a spot higher up the food chain.

Izzo was never staying mate. Even if we matched what Adelaide offered him (which as you correctly stated was a very minimal increase on what we offered), he was always going home.

Perhaps he can help me in my belief that at the moment of the big bang/ collosion .the universe has no mass and can therefore move faster than light speed .

I'd have swapped him for Matthew Trott that season

Getting pumped about Daniel Silva, hope he comes here hungry to prove himself. He is talked about in that article as if he is destined for much bigger things than the Aleague, imperative that we sign him for profit

I could never understand why Mickey Neill was pegged as a left back, not sure if we were just short in that area but at A-League level he was never going to make it there and he cost us a lot of goals. When he played in the midfield I actually thought he looked like a good prospect, seemed a lot calmer on the ball, didn't get caught out of position but also was handy joining the attack.

Agreed, he was something of a liability at LB and the one time Fraudsley played him in MF (against the Smurfs IIRC) he went pretty well from memory. Hopefully he will rediscover his mojo in the NPL and give himself another shot at the A League somewhere down the track.
