Tanner has made 24 appearances for Bolton's Under-23s, scoring two goals. He originally left Sydney to head to the UK to join Blackburn at the age of 14.

Now 19, the former Joey turns 20 next month. Tanner admits he would open to joining an A-League club.

Would personally prefer Avraam Papadopoulos as I feel he would be cheaper and a better player. But would would be happy with any of Rhys Williams, Jordy Buijs or Avraam Papadopoulos. Victory are in the hunt for Williams so I feel we would be priced out of the market very quickly.

Don't be fooled by the title,
You got to watch the video its about attitude not youth over seniors
He is the coach of a woman's college basketball team who are basically undefeated for the last 5 yrs (little exaggerated but bloody close)won over 90 in a row or something ridiculous at one point
They get all the best players that go no1 in the womans draft

I don't see the problem with not playing players that are leaving under our current circumstances

Here are the points I consider with this:
* We need to play our best squad?
To a point, but we're not going for the premiership. Bingers and Ivan are good players though so it's not a big difference anyway.

* Should we give game time to players who will be key to our next season?
Yes.

* Should we keep those same players on the bench and develop players who are definitely leaving us for rivals?
Hell no.

Booing is a separate issue and I generally speaking won't personally boo players. I've certainly changed employers before and I won't blame players for doing so either.
If Roy goes to the scum, though, that's the scum and he's in for the booing the rest of the scum will get.

Actually - you're not wrong... I have to admit, I am not so stressed in a sense, about him potentially leaving, much as I think it's annoying, but if he's going to the f****g he is quickly headed for a spot on my list only just below Arnie - and Lawrie after poaching Roy... In which case I f**king hope both his feet will be cursed and that he'll develop blister on his arse from sitting on the bench up there, the traiterous bastard.
