ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

He will have to be cheap

I'm pretty sure that's in the sig of all our transfer related inquiries.

Fortunately good signings can come out of seemingly nowhere, and for mine top 6 has given way to what should be an even bigger motivation... avoiding the spoon and supporting a new coach who has been doing well with his hands tied behind his back - so I expect there will still be multiple January signings.

The big thing for me I'd love to know is concerning Faty and Tav. Two foreign spots available would be huge for us right now in terms of opening up our possibilities. I really liked Tav, but he has been out for too long now imo. For an older player fitness will now be an issue and injury even more likely, and that's if his ankle is fine.

The club screwed up starting Faty 3 days after he'd played his first full 90 coming back. But you can appreciate why they wanted too.

We have paid the price for two years of not just poor coaching but poor recruiting.

The only think we've been shit of more than money, is luck this season.

Can't see how the Tav and Faty thing will work. They are broken but would still want a payout.
We don't want to rush into replacements for them unless someone wants to come for a couple of months.
Would rather waiting till the new season to get it right
So would we be any better loosing them now or just hanging on and seeing what we can get out of them

That said sounds like they are going anyway, so we have to wait to see how that plays out

It is possible that one or both of them will be out injured for the rest of the season in which case insurance will pay they wages and free up a chunk of to go towards replacements, as well as two visa spots would be freed up.

Faty playing youth so still involved with the club.

Maybe replacement options have fallen through and we just riding it out or just getting our money worth to get youth in GF

Saw Tavares at youth. He said he's out for the season and getting surgery on Monday. He's hopeful to be back for the last month but I'm doubtful on that.

Had a feeling when Roy was interviewed on podcast he wasn't good enough. Roy was hardly raving about him.

Looking like a quiet Window and a wooden spoon
Unless we magic someone out of thin air or take a massive punt it looks like it. Da Silva hasn't made up his mind yet so there's hope, people saying on FourFourTwo saying Deng might not be able to rejoin Victory because of the salary cap would be a decent signing.

De Silva is Perths anyway, wasn't he on loan from them, but they could be in same situation as Victory
We have a couple of boys who can recommend us to Deng, be happy with a six months rent if that suits victory

Let's face it Victory owe us a favour. We let them have that superstar Austin and we've taken
a couple of plodders off them.
