ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

FFA's announcement the A-League will be moving to the Asian model for overseas players i.e one must be Asian I think... will this impact our next signing i.e. will it mean Monty has to be replaced by a player from the AFC.

Can't see how it can be effective immediately?

Went on the FFA site to check it out, their video about it plays Kosmina's talking points about round 15 instead... the talking points link also just plays kossie.

EDIT#

Kicks in 2018/19 season Middy.

Master plan to just let Fox do everything perhaps...

Also will be 4+1 unlike Korea and Japan who are 3+1
Clubs not happy and it's not official, to be ratified later.

Interesting China just went the other way and dumped the Asian spot, but still 5 foreigners but only 3 can play and must have a under 23 in the 11 and a second at least on bench

About time! I have been wanting the HAL to adopt this policy.
There is tonnes of talent in Asia and a lot of it is good value.

Can we sign Endo?

Please?

Giancarlo Gallifuoco is the furthest away from 1st team action, but ahead of his rehab schedule in his battle to return to full fitness.

Gallifuoco suffered small ligament tear against Forest Green Rovers on Boxing Day and was expected to be back after 4-6 weeks. He has now returned to non-contact training and is eager to get back as soon as possible.

I feel we need to announce at least 1 new signing this week to ensure we don't drop 3000 fans for the next home game.

Give us the chance to look forward to something positive and exciting for a change.

We're going to have a much smaller crowd than the last few weeks regardless; it's not Wanderers, NYE or SFC (respectively).

Deducing that that is down to not announcing a signing is a... courageous... leap of logic.

Unless you think we're suddenly doing to have 4k there...

Not expecting a huge crowd next weekend but win by the NYL this weekend to set up a Grand Final and couple of decent signings could be the difference between a 4000 crowd and an 7000 crowd.

Nothing but rumours, still consider we will be lucky to sign one player this transfer. Made a prediction a month ago, would love to see some new blood just have a feeling we have written this season off. Realistically very unlikely to make the 6 even with a few additions, i would like to think different but reality is a b$tch.
