A have heard a bit of Twitter amougst agents suggesting that we will sign something akin to a poor man's marquee in the new year. Certainly not a Garcia. I couldn't rangle a name or even a position. On the negative side there was also talk that we may lose one or two that we want to keep. I am very fearful of the later.

There is not a single player we have that I'd be heart broken if we lost in the unsigned players. That includes Roy. Love him but not irreplaceable. Provided replacements were as good or better. Monty is the only one and I doubt he'd get picked up elsewhere at his age even being Aussie

Here's hoping that a poor mans marquee turns into a Nico Martinez type

It's a sad realisation that few if any players in our starting 11 would displace anyone in any of the other Aleague teams, therefore logic states I'd be happy with literally any player who is a starting 11 from another team.... and then In the case of Pain and Galloway, some who aren't even that level.

I put 2 + 2 together and got 58. We have a 'partnership' with Delhi Dynamos so I'm thinking a loan deal for Malouda after Monty becomes a citizen. He could come and train soon as the ISL has finished and be ready as soon as Monty becomes a citizen.

Who would we lose? Pain and Galloway I guess. That would leave us with wingers Ferreira and Buhagiar, fullbacks Ascroft and Neill, until Roux recovers. So our defence would be in even more trouble than it is now. Therefore I think we need a marquee 10 and some aging defenders.
