ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Far better than being a flat track bully on the gold coast was his equaliser against the scum. That will always be fondly remembered.

Jacques Faty was taken off in the 76th minute of our NYL fixture against the FFA Centre of Excellence score was 3-1 when he came off with the game ending in a 4-2 win for our boys.

He is not a Captain's arse.

He barely does is own job defensively.....how is he supossed to dictate to others.

Going forward he is one of the best in the HAL, defensively, he is one of the worst.

But its not hard to teach him his job and Okon can do that.

There's no doubt a reason why they're set to release him, and having watched some highlights over the last few weeks I think I can see what that reason is. No thanks, I don't see him any better than what we've got.

Its a tough one. On paper he is better than all of our back 4 but I watched him the other night and he was shite.

Players routinely underperform at Perth Glory, even Rostyn f**king Griffiths looks average over there and he was an absolute beast for us.
I have no doubt Okon could get the best out of Rhys, if he doesnt Arnold or Popovic will.

He is actually one that MC would be interested in (probably more so than Okon). Williams was a class player before a couple of shit seasons with injury. I agree he has looked awful since he has been back - but is he fit? If we could pick him up cheaply because of underperformance then he does have the class to come good again. Good enough to sell to China for a tidy profit.:tophat:

In the mean time we are light at CB and RB (and don't be surprised if we do a deal where Storm goes the other way). Storm was interested in Perth before his injury and only his girlfriend kept him here. I believe that they have now split so he may be keen to return home.

I think Okon and Storm have bonded. A coach who you like and values you is not to be underestimated. Go to Perth and he'll be on the bench till Risdon leaves...

I rate Storm, he is very good for someone so young, we need to keep the best of these young players that we have spent so long developing... and Storm is one. Will likely be the best RB in the league inside 3 years imo.

Williams likely to go OS IMO, still 18 months to go on contract so no chance of Glory releasing him to another HAL team. China or Mid East most likely.

Clearly still struggling with fitness issues.

Cockerill said Sydney FC are gunning for him though so I wouldn't be surprised if he went there so Perth have plenty to spend in January.
