THB's been released at his request, ostensibly to focus on his studies:

Well that sucks for us... I wonder whether

1) What the chicken/egg order is of him not having been first-choice for youth, or even backup for firsts is here... Whether it's a result of him struggling to make everything hang together, or something else.
2) Whether he's about to get involved in the ongoing WSW/SFC Janjetovic/Redmayne debarcle to cover SFC while Redmayne plays for SU ;)

In spite of his injury - even more of a shame that we let Bray go now...

They seem pleased with Pearce is it?
So Tinker is well down the pecking order... think we were all big fans of Bray, but with izzo finding his feet I think we're in decent shape keeper wise.

I thought it was a little odd that THB wasn't mentioned at all during the Matt Nash interview last week. This explains it. Its a shame, he seemed quite good when he was thrown in the deep end last season.

I think we're in a comfortable spot with keepers now Izzo has improved greatly and we have an experienced 2nd keeper in Necevski - not to mention having Pearce in reserve as well. We started the season with an over-supply so it made sense that something would give. All the best to THB.

Really sad about this one. The kid has wonderful potential but Okon was not fussed with him in the Aussie structure and was cut from his squad. When Okon took over this young man's cards were stamped. He was given an out at Newcastle with Kennedy's injury but apparently decided that the fickle nature of football was not for him,.technically very good. I wish him well

Lots of talk of who we will keep and who we will let go. Guys it's a players market next year. Okon must succeed otherwise we will lose many we would want to keep. Taveres and Faty are a single can't have one without the other. Izzo will go to Adelaide in a split second even as no.2. Posco will have many options. If Risdon goes o/s Storm will go to Perth. There are others - these guys have lived through a terrible time managed by a dysfunctional club. The club is on notice. Add the possible introduction of two new clubs and our performances and club culture must be good until May 2017 or we risk going back to the start again!

Agree, he is technically very good, however, he was a little suspect on crosses. I think a lot of clubs would notice that very quickly. He needs to work on that at a level lower than the HAL before he is monstered by people like Rosytn Griffiths or Timmy Cahill.

I saw THB on tv once and he looked quite good.
I saw him once in the flesh for Yoof and he didnt look great.
I haven't seen enough to really comment but best of luck to him for the future.
I like that the club appears to got a slightly harder edge after being shafted royally by Moss and his men.

He left Adelaide to get game time. Why the devil would he go back to be number 2 again?
Completely agree, however, Galekovic is 36 and has 1 maybe 2 years left. Izzo could make himself the replacement behind him by signing as the no.2 for the short term. He is very comfortable in Adelaide.

You'd think he'd have to be pretty unhappy here for him to make that sort of decision though wouldn't you?
I mean even if he gets to takeover from Eugene it would still be a bit down the path and - in spite of Izzo's youth - nobody's getting any younger.
In the meantime he'd be first choice keeper if he stayed here - I think that much is obvious based on how much support he's been given.
I doubt it he'd go unless he really really had to - it'd be an all round stupid move for him i think

The Connar pain interview on podcast had him talking about Izzo and fishing. That grab told me he gets on well with at least 3 or 4 players. So seems settled. Has won his duel with Ivan. Is getting much more love this year than last.
At start of season would have packed his bags. A League keeper gigs are not easy to get.
Also AU have another young keeper who has played when Eugine out.

Eugine wont be leaving for the duration of Pauls next contract, so if does love AU just sign a 2yr deal get 1st team experience here and then look at where Eugine is.

After last year can't see to many clubs chasing him just being wary of a false performance.

Also only WSW with GK problems in the next contract timing. Maybe Jets as well but don't know anything about them

The Central Coast Mariners defender is off contract at the end of the season and is attracting interest from other A-League clubs
Perth Glory are keen on bringing Central Coast Mariners full-back Storm Roux back to Western Australia but the New Zealand international is in no rush to leave Gosford.
Goal Australia understands that Glory are one of two clubs to have expressed an interest in Roux, who is one of 150 A-League players coming off contract at the end of the 2016-17 season.
When contacted by Goal Australia, Roux's agent Tony Rallis declared his client is in discussions with the Mariners about potentially signing a new contract and likes the direction the team is heading under coach Paul Okon.
Roux was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand as a child before again relocating to Australia as a teenager where he began his professional football career.
Growing up in Perth, Roux first became involved with Glory in 2010, making one senior appearance for the club three years later before joining the Mariners.
The 23-year-old right-back has played 70 A-League matches for Central Coast.
Signing Roux would continue Glory's preference for recruiting players who came up through the Western Australian system.
This season Glory have convinced Rhys Williams, Brandon Wilson and Rostyn Griffiths to return to their home state and play in the A-League.

That's a mightily subdued quote from Tony Rallis, considering the past - hopefully that's a sign that Storm really is keen on staying and don't want to needlessly rock the boat ;)

Subtle. Just letting us know there are other options. I'd resign him. Now, with Paul teaching them defending 101, he looks much better.
