ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Yes and MC pays the salary floor and the difference goes into keeping the club afloat. As I understand it.I'm so genuinely confused about how this league works, is the salary cap not covered by the FFA?

. but if i'm honest i struggle to see how we are even meeting the floor
.... quoted as saying we are spending $1m less than last year? when we appear to have actually increased the number of back-office staff that means some serious cuts to the playing roster
.
... and far from transparent - when the last tv deal was announced it was stated that the players would be paid directly so the owners couldn't get their hands on the cap money preventing the clubs from spending it on things other than player wages - which is why i have always questioned why we don't spend every cent of the cap on the players (we are already at a significant disadvantage cap-wise with no marquees)
Next season CCM are required to spend a minimum of 90% of the cap.
The Central Coast Mariners can today confirm to its members, fans and the media that the contract of Liam Reddy has been terminated by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old joined the Mariners in the lead up to the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 season under former Head Coach Graham Arnold.
The Central Coast Mariners will make no further comment on this matter.

Back at Sydney United is a better bet
A leopard doesn't change it's spots. He's in for a world of pain when he pisses the Wanderers supporters off.
