ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Talk of Kim leaving is premature by the looks of things. Read an article today which stated that Mossy indicated he may well start against MV or be on the bench.

Imagine if it was really that simple with Kim, just play him on the wing as he has apparently always done and BAM he does well.

Really, imagine.

I read an article last week in which Phil Moss said Matt Simon could be starting against the Jets...

Got to stop reading papers. :) Read another this morning that said Kim will be gone in January. Players seem to think he's a good guy mind you. What if he plays out of his skin between now and then though? Big "if" i know.

Look at the squad we had in 2011-12 and 2012-13. Look at all the current socceroos who were part of those trophy years. Look at us now. Apart from Micky Neil, who do we have that has Socceroos potential?

Caceras may. The only silver lining from being near the bottom is that our players will not be plundered in January.
Mane gone, hopefully Bosnar and the club can come to an agreement about a release.
With the available $$$ and cap space in the Jan window we definitely need to find one centre half and one striker who can poach.
Our spine is weak top and bottom.

I seem to remember saying that's what we needed before the season started. Sad that we are still in the same position.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
hmmm, I'm almost wishing that Bosnar would replace Zac for a bit....like I said before, I cant believe I felt sorry for Anderson when he was on the splinters for those few games

Trifiro signs a 2 year extension
Central Coast Mariners given huge boost as in-form Glen Trifiro signs contract extension
GLEN Trifiro is confident he will be able to produce his best football at the Mariners, which is why he has signed a two-season extension at the Central Coast club.
The 25-year-old midfielder played in various state leagues before joining the Mariners and he is grateful for the opportunity to cement his spot in the team.
His new deal takes him through to the end of the 2016/2017 A-League season and Trifiro is confident he will grow into an important player for the club going forward. n Trifiro sees himself as an important part of the Mariners future.
“There’s a good core of players - good senior players and young boys coming through,” Trifiro said.
I see myself as an important part of the club in the future. I see it as the best club for me moving forward and giving me a real opportunity to break into the A-League and to start getting some senior football. I’m only going to get better.
“I feel my best football is in front of me and I feel the Mariners will see my best.”
The Mariners haven’t won a game since their season-opener against the Newcastle Jets and this weekend face a tough trip to Wellington, where they will take on the Phoenix.
Their last match was at ‘home’ at to Melbourne Victory at North Sydney Oval, where they were convincingly beaten 3-0.
No one likes losing matches, Trifiro says, but he insists the mood in Gosford is still positive.
“We don’t have a negative look on things at our club. Everyone is always positive and I think that’s why we always pull through the tough roads we travel, so I don’t see this any differently,” Trifiro said.
“Yes it’s been a tough run of results and we’re not happy with the way things are going, but it’s nothing to put our heads down and sulk about, it’s more about trying to pull through.
“It’s not an easy match away in Wellington, so that’s tough. It’s an important game for us, but the harder the task generally the better we rise so we’re looking forward to that.”
