Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

More than can be said for WSW who have made 14 signings and I'll be referring to as Grandad FC this season. Not surprised their youth don't want to hang around.
They've stuffed up their rebuild too many times and now dont have the luxury of progressing youth while rebuilding. No coach under pressure will trust the youth players regardless of whether they deserve it. They've got some decent players now and seem to be spending better this off season but how will it all come together?

I don’t think they will be a disaster this season, have made some good signings.

Keen to see how he goes against Sydney this weekend. Only heard good things so will have decent expectations.
Until I see it in action and after about 5 rounds I’ll reserve my judgement however I’m worried about our defence. There have been a lot of attacking signings for other teams so a good defensive line is a must this season.

I’m the same with new signings, give them about 5 or so starts before making a judgement, particularly young signings.
our defence will be fine. A new GK and experienced CB are on the way. No need for genuine concern yet.

My prediction also, they’ll get a couple okay results then die in the arse quicker than rudan can say Mel McLaughlin
I know Rudan isn’t well liked on this forum however I feel they will make the finals with the squad they have assembled. He didn’t do all that bad with the Nix and WU. The Cows proved a good squad gets results even when the Manager isn’t that flash, Mulvey at the Roar also comes to mind.
