ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I also found Jackos comment about Sains injury triggering another plan he has up his sleeve very revealing. Almost as if he was saying, looks like Sains might be retiring early, I have a plan if thats the case
Does that plan involve Qantas and The Bill reruns on an ipad

I rate him way more than Paull.

There was no explanation about Paull not being selected tonight and I didn't notice him in the stands. Might be sold and gone already?
He was in the stands with the other guys, no noticeable injury but did read where he was suffering a knock and nothing serious. I read that in the article that named Eames a late addition to the squad.

Also means he still had Sains in his plans for next year despite a mediocre season. Maybe because he knows Kaltak is leaving and needs someone with experience besides Roux

I also agree that it was a subtle threat to "the owner" that if he doesn't find him, he will take his plan and go to another club.
Threats of leaving are quite often met with "Don't let the door bang you on the way out".
Could be he is trying to provoke or mutual termination. If so I am fairly ambivalent.

Among other things, I have not been overly impressed with his recruitment nor with who he was supposedly chasing in January.
I cannot but wonder who he has in mind for his next round of recruitment.

Good point - anyone who believes Wales and/or Burgess take us to the next level is not a serious recruiter of talent. Both were being hawked around to see what bids they got. Hardly the result of in depth scouting.

Management 101 - someone threatens you and they are out the door, you always call the bluff of someone who tries that on you. I expect MC will be no different.
