I’d say Miller has the right to give that spot a go first. The kid did ok being played out of position most of last season, so how about we give him a crack in the role he has actually been groomed for?

Personally, I have deliberately kept my expectations low for the coming season, as I am so sick of believing in false dawns. My only hope is that we can somehow avoid being the first team in A League history to finish 10th, 11th and 12th in consecutive seasons.

It's hardly just a CCM thing to play young central defenders in LB/RB instead of their natural spots. It's very hard to cover for a big mistake in the middle and requires a lot more trust.

At a bare minimum you need an experienced core to mentor and develop young players instead of throwing them to the wolves. Getting wrecked week in week out wont launch a career.

Just to update and clarify - we are aiming to announced more player signings today. One will be a scholarship player and also aiming for a visa player announcement later today as well. The 2nd visa player announcement won't be today but hopefully not far away.
We are about to send an update on the trial match and carols shortly as well.

Have seen him play a bit in the NPL. Quite decent, pacy winger with very good feet.
