ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

WA results.... polls in free fall....be surprised if she lasts another month ... big question do you go with Kevin 07 or Bill Shorten ... Kev protects Bill from the stigma of losing an election.. however young Billy is their best chance ...wonders aloud if the tab have a pick the number of days thing going yet...

It`s really sickening the way the main stream media are manipulating the election.
Let`s face it, if Labour lose then Murdoch will rule this country.

The media, the mining industry and many more who are fed up with this hung parliament.
The country is grinding to a halt and Julia has become the scapegoat.

I don't particularly like her but she's only the spokesperson for a party of many underachievers.

but wait .after 5 years of the libs playing the "boat people racist card" to the point of the "juden, tattooed numbers"
we have foreign worker visa's . 80% of australians respond to this .it'll be justice if the libs lose on this.

10,000 businesses closed in the past twelve months. 1 per hour.
Unemployment isn't showing it as people are moving to part time employment. Half a wage is better than unemployment if you have a mortgage to pay.
And they're debating boat people....WTF!
Why aren't either party acknowledging these real problems?
It's a case of who doesn't know someone who is insolvent or bankrupt these days.

ummm, you forgot to say how many new businesses opened as unemployment is down & I, for one, don`t know anyone that has become insolvent or bankrupt.

Boat people are an issue & have been for a long time (remember the kids overboard lies). The only way to solve the problem is with a bipartisan approach where all of our plllies have a say & shoulder the responsibility of helping those that deserve it & sending back those that don`t.

The new businesses must be online because I drive past a growing number of closed businesses every day and I lose a supplier every month.

100% agree with a joint effort from the pollies. Lets not kid ourselves, the world has changed and changing more rapidly now than ever. History has no guidance for the next decade or two. It will take someone with real vision.
Just not sure who that is.

Might need to change the thread title to "Kevin time perhaps?"

Ballot at 4:30pm, assuming Abbott's motion of no confidence doesn't get up. Election might be a little sooner than September.

Disappointed, for a few reason.

1) I think Rudd is a much better leader than Gillard. Not as populist, and he's strong enough to not get suckered into LNP's negative politics nearly as much. I think he's got Abbott sussed out far better than Gillard does.

2)Rudd in the lead has a much, much better chance than Gillard does at beating Abbott, IMO. The public knows it, but keeping Gillard in is giving Abbott his best chance. Much like how Abbott is also Labor's best chance at winning.

3)These shenanigans are divisive and harm Labor severely. Stunts like this shouldn't be pulled unless there's a clear outcome. This whole thing was a complete mess and achieved absolutely nothing except to damage Labor's already tenuous credibility.

Not quite.
Today will put an end to the MSM campaign against Labour by promoting leadership issues.
By Crean doing what he did he ended all leadership issues & showed that the media campaign was all hype.

Gillard is an incredible person. No politician in our history has endured as much as her.
She isn`t even warmed up yet, watch out Libs she`s coming to get you!

That's Labor by the way. And whilst the MSM may cool off on the leadership issue, they have plenty of other ammo to fire at this dysfunctional party. Two Ministers and three Whips gone, and I imagine more bloodletting to follow for those disloyal to the PM. It is fascinating stuff this, watching the Labor party self-implode. And no, I'm not a Liberal voter.

I think the days of loyalty to any party are over.
It's just who is competent enough to lead the country in a sensible forward thinking manner.
We're sitting on an island full of resource and natural beauty. Can't be that difficult.

You're certainly not a Labor voter, so saying you're not a Liberal voter doesn't mean you're not partisan.

This election is like a poker game.
The first hand - cards have been dealt, Gillard has sorted & thrown out what she doesn`t want, Abbott is sitting, Gillard is now waiting for her new cards. (even though she has a few aces up her sleeve)
