ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hahahaha, what? You wouldn't pay to watch the team you support regardless?

The worst game i have ever seen in my life was the FA Cup Final a couple of years ago between Man U and Chelsea; you can't expect every week to have the best football; if you are a true supporter you take the dross with the good because it is the game that gets the bubbles rising in your blood not one particular performance; My neighbour, who I persuaded to come to the ACL games (no worse trio of games has ever been perpetrated at the BlueTongue) has now become a Mariners member and has really enjoyed both home games, he loves the atmosphere, the sense of enjoyment and the excitement on the park; he couldn't give a toss about the so called quality, he just loves football.

It was far from a fail tbh.
Yes, if the quality of the football played by teams in the A-League continued to be as bad as the utter crap served up yesterday by CCM and Sydney I would stop going.tuftman said:Hahahaha, what? Uh, OK. You obviously are a tifo fan.
But if you are going to do things like that, at least do it properly?

- They had limited numbers
- They had no access to the stadium before hand (y'know a few days before the game, that they would have for a home game if they were to set up such a tifo displau)
- They outdid us, at Bluetounge, again.

Tell you what, take a proposal to the Marinators and offer to pay for all the associated cost (or do a whip around of like minded souls for tifo) and I'm sure you'll get support for it.
But judging from what I've seen on this forum, the day you nominate as the day for coughing up the money and actually doing some work on the displays, will be the day that suddenly 6 or so of those who said they'd help you, suddenly find they have more pressing things to do.
TBF to the Cove, they have always had the size of their group as an advantage over most other supporters groups, both here and internationally.
I've only seen Urawa Red Diamonds supporters put them to shame at the SFS. No one else has either bothered or been successful.

???
I don't feel like thats a fair comment at all. In the time I have dedicated to making banners, I have had numerous people from the bay offer to lend a hand whether its funds, input, buying lunch, travelling long distances to paint a banner on a day off just to help out, or even carrying the fkers to games!
There are so many people on this forum and around at games that would offer their services to set up a tifo or spend a day painting because it is actually a fun exercise, but what you need is the ability to DO IT YOURSELF! whether thats making your own banner, coming on here and being PROACTIVE asking for peoples help or setting up a banner making day at your house (watch the pm's fly in) or ACTUALLY hitting up the marinators exec for help with tifo ideas etc, instead of just chucking up a banner idea on here or make the assumption that noone is willing to help when in fact one has never even tried or attempted to make their way around creating a tifo.

When I get back from my holiday I will be asking people to help me make something that the marinators will be proud of.
Can I add you to that list of people Clarence?
