ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I can't read that. But I did see that you misspelt 'Turnbull'.

I hear there are some excellent English & Communication Class run run by the Evening College's and TAFE .. perhaps this would help you ... BTW I admire you having the courage to say in public you have such a problem they say the first step in admitting a problem is when you have a chance of solving it..

BTW good luck with the classes and your reading skills improve..  :p

Thought Heff handled Danning brilliantly.

In the 1st half Heff was man marking him tightly whereas he usually stands off his man and allows his pace to cover any breaks.

Dangerous against Danning so he adapted wonderfully.

Whilst it did curtail his usual runs forward a bit, he is to be congratulated on his performance.

As far as supporters groups go I truly believe the marinators have taken a step backwards, signs and tiffos are one thing, but they will never make up for pure, organized noise. (ie singing).

Hey Uncleyellow. Not having a dig at you at all, just using your post to prove a point.

This saying comes to find....

"You can lead a camel to water, but you cant make it drink"

Pretty much sums up mine and others efforts to get the bay singing as one imo

Agree totally. In the meantime, the best we can do is get up people here for not contributing, and keep on singing and hoping that those people who act like statues realise one day what they could be a part of. See my suggestion just posted in the 'Songs' thread for a possible song in the bay with lyrics aimed at those who aren't bothering...

Hey midfielder  the only thing you missed was that when the gaylord fozz was playing  Oz was ranked about 927 and now they have slipped through poor management and skill levels to a lowly 16th?????

Did plenty on the weekend didn't he? :p

Heff did a great job on him. My heart kept rising in my throat, and yet Heff dealt with him very comfortably. Heff surprised me on Saturday, while Danning (who I have seen play very well on other occasions) had not a lot going on.

I agree wholehartedly! I was shitting bricks at the prospect of Heff v Kofi but I was impressed with how intelligently Heff aproached the task. Completely nullified any impact he may have had.
In fact I  have been guilty of shitting bricks about a few issues prior to kickoff this season but have been pleasently surprised with the overall performance of the team. Defense as has been mentioned by all and sundry,  is greatly improved and will continue to do so as Doig gets more game time. The inclusion of McGlinchey has been a revelation just love to see slight,  nippy ball players creating havoc in the midfield, very smart player as well. There are still a couple of concerns Disco Nik to name one but all in all so far so good in my books?

Add Elrich to that list.

McGlinchey proves that Scotland can still produce skilful inside forwards - shame they they dont get a run in the SPL as E European's are probably cheaper
