Bit of a shame that none of that rubbed off on any of our squad when he was here, would of been good if 'head down Wilko' had learnt a thing or two.

I don't think he was there long enough ... would love to see him back playing in the a-league.

David Williams wants out of Brondby apparently "Young Australian striker David Williams has stunned his Danish club Brndby after claiming he will leave the club in three weeks if he doesn't get more first-team opportunities." - about time he came home, would add real pace to Mariners front line...

Do you know, or does anyone else know, if the mariners are looking at him?

low goal to game ratio for a striker.
any idea what kind of player he is, or will act as for us?

Mmmmmm I'll reserve my judgement until I see him play but 30 years old with a poor scoring  record when your position is striker doesn't excite me.

IMO we don't need another striker unless they are quality, an attacking midfielder i more crucial to our season next year.

Looks like our next signing:

my scottish mate said he is a very good player
On paper it's not a real impressive record.

Eight goals in Fourteen starts last season is ok but then it was 3rd tier football in Scotland. His record with Kilmarnock and Hearts in the SPL doesn't look too flash.

I've a mate in Scotland who's a Raith Rovers season ticket holder....poor tragic guy......I'll get an opinion.I keep in touch with a Hearts mate aswell.....wonder if he remembers him?

Wales was scoring the odd goal in the Scottish Premier league in 2008 so he must be an ok player. Should fit in well and will be needed as cover considering Simon and Mac are injured and Mrjda has been plagued by injury. Also gives us that bit more experience.

He walked out on the Rovers for "off-field reasons". If we sign him, I hope those reasons have been resolved. It's hard enough to play the game, without unresolved baggage to drag you down.

Wonder why the Mariners didn't snap him up....or Adelaide? Still the squad looks solid enough if Travis and Wales are confirmed and maybe one or two others. We will go alright again.

Now we 'know' (have been informed by enough people with ears close enough to the ground) that Mrdja is back, I gather Redmayne will be back and Clark will at the very least be coaching but probably playing too.

That means 19 signed up out of a potential 23. Wales would be the last possible foreigner. There would have to be two more u/21s in there - Lewis and Sherlock?

There's got to be a fair bit of cap space left there - are they keeping something under their hats or are they simply skint as f**k?

I had similar thoughts this morning after reading about Rostyn Griffiths. If they are keeping something under their hats, they must still be negotiating. I just really think that they are, in your words, skint as f**k
