Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Good signing

Glad its just a one year contract, meaning we could get rid of him if he had a terrible run of injuries or isn't up to it (although I think he is). Its a good approach considered the current staleness of the squad. Keep it up mariners.

Basically the only way Wilko will lose the armband is if we sign a marquee defender, cant see that happening to be honest so looks like he will be our Capitan for the next few seasons

Incredible huke over huke skywalker. We don't need another star wars refference.

Hiroyuki Ishida (石田博行 ,Ishida Hiroyuki?, born August 31, 1979 in Yokohama, Japan) is a Japanese football player who has recently played as a right winger for Sagan Tosu.

[edit] Biography

He played in the first season of the Hyundai A-League for Perth Glory coming from Sydney Olympic and not long after the 05/06 season had finished he went to pursue his playing career in Malaysia after the Perth Glory changed its ownership over to the FFA. After a brief stop at Johor FC in Malaysia, he now plays for Japan's J. League division 2 side Sagan Tosu (as of June 2008).

During his time at Sydney Olympic, Hiroyuki Ishida was a firm fan favourite. Ishida was known for his outstanding pace and dribbling skills on the wing, willingly pressuring the opposition with adventure and excitement; this is mostly why the Olympic fans took to his adoration so much. During his time at Olympic, Ishida claimed the NSL (National Soccer League) Championship in the 2001-2002 season, as well as the NSL Minor Premiership and the NSL Runners-Up in 2002-2003.

That wiki is out of date. Ishida was trialling at Newcastle but they did not want his services. His is now trialling at Mariners.
