All player payments are included in the cap, including payments to loanees (including those from their parent club).

I know this becuase prior to Season Two, SFC tried to sign Ahmad Elrich on loan from Fulham. Fulham agreed to pay all his wages bar ~$100k (which SFC would pay), however teh deal flopped because all payments (including those from Fulham) would've counted in the cap.

Alright, the season is over, lets put it behind us and talk about new signings, something that can stir up a bit of optimism. Is there any rumors linking us to anyone. I know there are rumors that we may lose Pondeljak, Aloisi and Clark; Gumprecht is all but gone; Vidmar has retired; and Danny is banned, but I wanna be positive and speculate on who the club is interested in signing. In the event we lose these all these players this is what we need to do:

-somehow get a keeper on a short term deal and loan either Trott or Redmayne out to a state league side in order to keep them fresh, I get the feeling that Beltrame, Galekovic or Bajic will be released by Adelaide after the ACL, McMaster or Ham may be released by QLD and Paston or Spoonley by Wellington. Realistically, we are looking at one of these to cover for Danny if we want someone with some sort of A-League experience id say we should get Galekovic or Beltrame if Adelaide release either one, though I suspect Bajic will get the chop who would be a big no no. If neither of those then probably Paston would be the one to get

-If Pondeljak and Gumprecht are both lost, then 2 playmakers are a must. One established, one young would be the ideal situation. Suggestions: Sarkies, Fred or Patafta for experience and Ty Owens for Young

-If Aloisi leaves then a striker is needed as if we re-sign Mrdja im not convinced he will remain fit and injury free all year, preferably young but age isnt really a big concern under 30 would be good. My suggestions would be Smeltz if he is off contract next year or if not then we have to import from overseas or look to the state leagues.

-Finally if Clark leaves then we need a versatile fullback that can play on both sides in order to cover for any injuries that may happen to either Heff or Osman. Downey is what I have suggested, or maybe Kemp would be able to play there or would these be the plans for McAndrew?

no one knows. we been told via quotes in the media that they are in talks and should have something sorted out within the coming days or weeks.

i doubt he will sign and im not too worried. he told me mate that his heart is here... but you have to remember that he is also getting big and bigger offers else where... i, personally, am expecting him to capitalise on those offers to get all he can get while he can.
