Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Oh and by the way, Reinaldo has re-signed for the Roar on a 3 year deal...

*I am now going to hang my head in shame...*
We could fall as low as Newcastle signing him...

Ossie is listed as a (bargain buy) midfielder in the fantasy A league  :)
You are only allowed to make references to how good he is on FM2008 or Fifa08....please be more careful next time

;D

Though... the term "bargain buy" is actually implying that ossie has a very high worth which has been foolishly overlooked by the fantasy A league... Even more so, I would say it is indeed a necessary counter statement against the wrongful and misguided representation of one of our brightest young stars. And quite frankly I'm a little disappointed and surprised that its left to lowly individuals like me to bring up such issues and that there has not been any strong signs of protest or action on Mr Osmans behalf by the great institution of CCY...

So please be "even" more careful next time...

kk thx  ;)

Does that mean Miller is falling through?

Hope so, from what I've heard he still has the goods and would be a handy pick up

No Miller is confirmed too

QLD should be able to find the net this year, providing they keep their defence fit should stop the goals too.

They are looking strong for a top 4 finish again!

From what I heard his touch was quality last week against Wellington.

V4 is shaping up to be the most competitive yet - love it!

Lack of depth in defence - their fullback options are the worst in the comp - which says a lot.

Agreed - the loss of the Og hasn't been dealt with, they will leak this year but they certainly have some fire power now.

If they lose Moore (and he's bound to get suspended at some stage, like Tiatto) they will be very short of numbers and playing people out of position.

seems ironic to say qld will score heaps of goals considering they butchered more chances in the first two seasons than everyone else combined

Agree with NS, their finishing for three seasons has been woeful with Reinaldo being the main culprit.

There's been a lot worse players in the HAL, but none more overated. Waste of an outfield position and I expect more of the same from up front from Queensland this year.

And yet they have re signed the donkey for another 3 seasons! I wonder if it's true that the seats either side of goals and half way up the stadium @ Suncorp are considered dangerous from the shots that fool blasts.

lynch is useless

He was so close to signing with us in v3 its not funny. I dont think he was that bad to be honest. He didnt get much solid game time in QLD, but I think would have been great for us.

Nearly every club in the A-League has signed a marquee player!
The Mariners havent!
Do we need one???
What type of player do we need?
Any suggestions on who you would like to see the club bring in?
