Trouble is, apparently his trouble and strife isn't settling well. Would she do better here than there? One of her problems is missing her friends.
Would love to see him in yellow though.

I'd like to see Gary Van Egmond.

Seams like a decent bloke.  Knows his Footy and a bit more technically savvy than LM.

That would make the game against the scum a little more exciting

You've been listening to GVE - cerrtainly not anyone that was coached by him. Most players that have played under him think he is an idiot and credit Mark Jones with any success they had.

I think wombat means "technically savvy" as opposed to LM

CENTRAL Coast Mariners midfielder Michael McGlinchey will join SPL side Motherwell next month, according to reports in the UK.

BBC Sport claims that McGlinchey will arrive at Motherwell during the second week in February until the end of the current Scottish season.

It is believed the deal has been engineered so the 22-year old can retain his match fitness as he pushes for a spot in New Zealand's World Cup squad.

The move will ensure the Wellington-born McGlinchey gets four months of game time ahead of the tournament start in June.

Two of Adelaide's Brazilians (Cristiano & Alemao) look like they're on the outer there, contracts up & not in the ACL.
Anyone think they might be useful for us?

Alemao is alright, and RB is a hard spot to fill. Cristiano? He can keep walking.

"I don't like the transfer and have "hated" it when i first heard it but now I'm coming round. We're swapping a shit winger (we have at least 2 more players in that position) with a shit striker (a position we need). So we're getting player we SHOULD (case: Dadi) be able to play or at least sit on the bench."

I pinched the above quote from a Glory supporter on 442 commenting on the transfer/swap of McBreen for Downey. His description of McBreen is common amongst those who talk on there.
I am very worried about him being here next year. Are we really getting what we think we are?

I admit I've only seen him live twice, and only a couple of times on the Teev, so I'm no expert on his quality, but I have already said I wasn't impressed Saturday night. I've also already said that I think he's too much like what we already have.

The general consensus on that forum was that Fury were getting by far the best of the deal. A bit of a worry.

I've watched every game McBreens played this year and by my estimation, he is the sstrongest forward in the league along with Sergio van Dijk. He's more of a handful than Matty with a better arsenal of scoring techniques, and decent pace. The closest I've come to seeing him bullied out of a game was the first game against us... but he still got on the sheet.

That said, he hasn't got on the sheet anywhere near as much as he should have but he shone in many games even when Fury were being dominated. Importantly, he also makes good runs.

Sincerely beleive he could be one of the top five strikers in the league.
So my call is that he may well prove to be a great signing for us.

Your off your head!!lol

Mc Breen aka tripod---is no good...33 and past it

Been looking ok to me...  :-*

From memory, Cristiano does a very mean dive.

your point ??? so does hutch and simon ;)

No particular point, I was thinking back to the blatant dive against us last year, and another one a couple of weeks later when replays showed he wasn't touched.
I don't like seeing Simon & Hutch doing it either, much rather they stayed on their feet and kept challenging for the ball. They'd probably have better success.

When I posted the quote, I was concerned about him, and I've tried to watch as much as I can of him since. I must say my worries about him coming here have been just about laid to rest. My only real concern is how well does he go when he's not getting service from his midfield. This will be a problem for him next season, unless we recruit some extra class.
