ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Central Coast Mariners squad - 2010/2011 HAL season

The only thing is I worry about is the effect on our oft-mooted by Lyall marquee striker from OS. Doig and Wee Mac are OS players contracted to 2011. Crowell and Travis and now Brown are OS players presumably until the end of the season.

FWIW I think both Travis (in particular) and Crowell should be resigned. If they are resigned and this guy is signed then there are no OS left for our marquee.

hey kev your  thinking might be to the point as well as Lyall's comment of an OS marquee does not exclude a returning Aussie (Kewell..... Please and I bump my memberships from 5 to an outdoor box))

Apparently Peter Cvetanovski, a right back, who played for Victory Youth and then went to Germany with Borussia Munchengladback (or whatever) has been training with us, looking for an A League contract; and we are also rumoured to be interested in Victory Youth striker Nathan Elasi (who scored 3, or 4, against us recently)

havent heard much about the first bloke, not much on wiki either, but IF he's good, we do need a RB, whereas elasi, imo could be a good pick up if we do get him, got speed (i think) and would be a good player coming off the likes of matty and mcbreen

hope i am wrong but all this movement points to us losing a player or two in the transfer window

that or we will release another player

Peter Cvetanovski has played all along the backline. Was with Victory for a while and has represented Australia through the age ranks. Originally from western Sydney I think - a mate of mine used to rave about him 3-4 years ago.

My spider sense tells me that Travis might well think of going back to play in UK next season.

He has proved his fitness and would easily get league 1 if not lower CCC.

Just a guess but I wouldnt be surprised to see it

Jeez.  I hope you are wrong!!!
Travis and WeeMac have the potential to be the best pairing HAL has seen so far.

I think Travis would do himself no harm by another season out here playing regular first team football in a good environment. Sometimes better to be a bigger fish in a little pond for awhile...

Heavily weigh up leaving quickly if I was him.

Good in theory but I bet the lure of returning home on good money would be too much for him... but my fingers, toes and eyes are crossed that he stays
