thats super annoying to know that someone was trying to buy the club as well...... Fark me
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
..., including a “Charlesworth Out” banner, even though his children heard some of the chanting in the New Year’s Eve loss to Perth.
yeh agree not much for kids to look forward to is there? This ***wit refuses to spend $ and only the bare minimum and now that legitimate offers come in he doesn't want to sell???
I dont get it???!!!
Guess that reported 7 weeks Down Under Charlesworth was suppossed to be here for went out the window
..... and I dont mean the transfer window.
.... that an offer in writing of $8.5m from an overseas-backed consortium was rejected ....The deal was brokered by Tony Rallis, the intermediary who brought Usain Bolt to the club on trial,
However Confidential understands that other suitors might be circling.
Existing club with infrastructure absolutely right. 13 for a club of nothing in a catchment in nowhere. He'd want close 20 I reckon.8.5m might be a bit of a low ball considering the costs of the expansion bids but it confirms there is definitely some interest in us and maybe something will come of that.
Seen the movie semi pro.... Could happen.Soooo, the real offer was made by Usain Bolt.
"If you WON'T give me a contract, I'll buy your piddly club and GIVE MYSELF a contract instead !! "
At the time, I actually hypothesised to myself that ⬆THIS was probably the easiest way for Bolt to become a 'Professional Footballer'
.... just BUY THE CLUB !!
But I thought that once Bolt found out that he wasn't up to A-League standard & was dragging the team down, what would he do with CCM going into the future ???
Perhaps there is more to my hunch on this, as Rallis' consortium of backers is 'un-named'.
If Charlesworth knew Bolt was behind or a part of the consortium he'd most likely jack-up the price for the $100 Million Dollar Plus man .... Usain Bolt.

I'd rather red bull than Chinese. And I don't fancy red bull turning us into a sugary version of citehSo thats 2 serious buyers that he has turned down.
What a scumbag, why wont he just leave us alone?
I Know for a fact that nyl boys are leaving. nobody likes junna, or occonnor. the archaic out of fkking touch coachng ccm is gonna lose of lot of good players. i am so pissed with what is going down at mariners. i could say a whole lot more but i can't or wont'
I suspect he was here to meet with FFA about HAL independence. Now whether that converted to funding for the club I dunno..Ok.
So we know our club is worth more than $9m to some serious players.
At the moment we have a f**king Monkey running us....time for Pikey to FUND us or f**k OFF!
