Are we guilty of trying to be a fancy junior academy to produce sell ons instead of sticking to our coastie values

Hard working gritty blue collar loyal.

If we stick to our roots then the rest will come. We have always had Monty’s or hutches to guide the boys. Not overly special players based on skill but had enough skill to go with the heart required. Along with solid recruits then youth came on top of that and excelled.

Instead of chopping and changing the youth setup every other week and getting fancy AIS coaches we stick to the talented coaches we’ve had.

We had cahn who was successful and then last season NPL i’m not sure of his name but two talented coaches who maybe didn’t have the profile but were stearing the youth in the right direction.

There is no guts in the midfield at the moment. An Isasis type player. Skillful but also willing to get in every scrap.

Aiden is just chopping blokes because he is frustrated.

We need to stop the whole we are going to produce the best youngsters thing. City clearly have that taped up. We need to be getting the work horses and find just that one or two special ones. If we get the club back on track the youth will come and will the sales

I'd like to see O'Neill play a Kante like role. Problem is the midfield around him seems to disappear too often.

I had a family gathering on last night and tried to give my platinum seats to anyone who I thought would want to go to the game/fireworks. Tried for two days. No one wanted them. Gee I am glad they didn't take them now. And now I wake up to the result and will happily delete the recording from the IQ. pretty sad state of affairs.

I watched the fireworks with my family and a few others. Myself and one friend wandered in for a beer and watched about 10 mins of the game....just in time to watch Pearce let in another howler.
Our movement off the ball is non existent.
I was shocked at how small the crowd was.
