Points to the level of intelligence they posses when they still find something to bitch about following for their benefit, the bending/twisting/fortunate use of/adlibbing, ect ect ect of the league's chook raffle regulations that risks the league and it's administration being seen at best as incompetent fools running a pub comp, or at worst, as self serving corrupt geezers that would feel well at home in the lower leagues in Italy. Perception, perception, perception. I cannot understand how, following decades of NSL incompetence, corruption and poor PR, the Crawford report and 5 years of the aleague, football still hasn't learned to be seen to be above board and still insists on shooting themselves in the foot.

I just cannot for the life of me believe the Mariners have signed this guy, again. I can't see how his time with the club could be viewed as anything but an infuriating, major-salary-cap-sucking, farcical waste of time money. It has been a disaster, and imho a major piss-taking effort on his part.
This will be third time his eternal injury problems and lazy form has miraculously started to look up as his contract is about to expire.
This guy did not deserve the second contract, giving him a third is just inexplicable to me.

We have been poor, and how could any fan not understands peoples ire with Nik, but I don't think he's ever strung 17 games together for us in a season before - and has been best on park for the last few...
