ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bye Nik (but we'll meet again)

Jazzie

Sheer joy at beating the scum :)

Any one see it playing out like this...........Nik has an absolute stormer, bangs in goals left right and centre before suffering a season ending injury in the last game for Melb.

Yep  ... this whole thing is so depressing. Going to take a pill and lie down

Yes, first thing I thought. Didn't want to seem negative though, so fingers crossed.

In Murphy's Law if you expect it to happen it doesn't, right?

Cant make finals, opportunity to save wages = good economic sense.

Not communicating or explaining and treated the "members" like mugs = wankers

Wages saved meaning expenses less... Gate down because of best players not available meaning revenue less ...

It could cost us money if the gate is small..

ha ha ha ha ha ha. Mrdja finally finds some form and we trade him!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha

The Mariners are becoming a joke.

I'm just gonna count down to the AFL season now and pretend that this A-League season was a bad dream.

Who else would you support? The others will probably be FC, GCW, Scum, Glory, and the foreigners. OK maybe the Glory seeing they have a soon-to-be Mariner in the team.
If the tards play Glory in the GF, buggered if I know who I'll support. :)

I don't think I'll ever get used to this business of chopping & changing teams & players throughout the season, having trading windows in the middle of the season.
I always thought a contract was a contract, and it was only terminated if you were a naughty boy.
If you wanted to change teams, or the team wanted to get rid of a player, it happened at season end.

Was WEIRD watching him run on in those colours when you know he's still really a Mariner...  :-\

He gets the assist from the Hernadez free kick, but he should have had two goals with his one on ones. Played some decent balls and looked good otherwise, I think just looked a little rattled being a MV boy for the first time. And to be honest he got better service tonight with MV than he has gotten from us all year.

As to all the fuss on here. lol, we will be without Mrdja for two games when we are already eliminated from the finals and people are spitting chips? My how things change.

Happy he's been resigned for a one year deal with us. I think it was the smart thing to do as a club - as long as his wage was not too high.

Going on loan - yes unless he gets injured - I think will be a good thing for us.
Hopefully he will have retained or improved his form for next season and with Mc Breen looking decent, and Nik in form we will be halfway to true strike force.

I don't think it does our code many favours to be honest.

Thats why you follow the badge and never the individuals. I fully expected him to score and run to the massed tards doing the whole badge kissing thing

Orrrrrrr...

The Mariners are now out of the finals, with only two games to play, and had a chance to save some dollars and help keep a striker in form, who has been VERY short on games over the past few years but is finally moving towards his potential.

Also helps a fellow Australian club in their ACL bid.

Don't think this makes us a joke.
