Was thinking about it today...I quite like the idea of bringing busloads of Liverpool Supporters down for this one. For one, a ticket sale is a ticket sale. 2, sure, they're probably mostly eurosnobs but hey, maybe some of them will decide to jump on board with CCM. Even if it's just for a little while, better than nothing, and maybe some merch sales in support of Garcia as well.
But getting the Eurosnobs to actually attend a HAL match is actually pretty decent from an exposure standpoint, maybe some will have some interest in the game. Probably more likely they'll keep whinging about the HAL, but overall I think it's quite a good move and quite good marketing.
And it's exciting to hear positive talk about our financial position too!

Does anyone have any sort of sense of how sponsorship agreements normally hang together?
I mean I think it's clear that LG is still recognisable and so he's interesting as a brand but. If he's signed on as a NB brand ambassador on an understanding that he's retiring and if he want still so recognisably connected... When a player unexpectedly comes out of retirement, how committed does he stay, for the brand?
