ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Odd that the club would put it about though (even if it were true) - only makes it harder to put the genie back in the bottle.

Pure speculation...but perhaps they have been the victim of unpaid invoices by past management?

WTF seriously? What possible reason could they have for being anti local?

I think it's got more to do with football tbh... it does seem to have taken a bit of a turn over the last year or two.

Anyway, they're part of Newscorp - since when have they needed a reason for anything other than $$$$... Just look at Rebecca Wilson

The thing that I have noticed is the high esteem that Luis is held in by other professionals as well as fans. We have used a Liverpool connection to get Luis - if he likes his time here he has the potential to be an ambassador for the club for players that have played at Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona - some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Obviously we would not be looking at 28 year olds - but players who seem to have the right attitude, look after themselves, and are still performing. Players like Dirk Kuyt who at 35 has scored 16 goals in 21 appearances in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord this season.

More like nightmares.

Wilson's drunk behind the wheel trying to run you down in the dark.

You're down to your very last flare.

Holding it aloft as you struggle through the dark streets to get away from her as she yell's out the window,

" I'm disqualified! I'm gonna run you over & there'll be no insurance to pay for your wheelchair "

Edit: Her dickhead brother Jim, is the voice-over you hear in the dark , commentating the whole thing like it's a sports report.

Your a mind reader PJ.

LFC supporter myself, Kuyt was who I thought of that would be a great fit for CCM in 2 or more years to come.

Primarily; he would be able to be the out & out striker.

Secondary; along a front 3 secondary.

Forget Wilson nightmares ... and let this post give you sweet CCM dreams.

Ok you're in good company, both you and Robert Plant have misquoted Shakespeare.

Not to get into a great analytical debate - although it'd be fun :D - but I think the point of Plant's version is that the lady is misquoting it... She's not heeding Shakespeare's warning - hence the purchase of the, in-the-song-referred to ascending pediatary device reaching into the sky. ;)

Apparently they believe that more coasties are anti Mariners and bad news sells.

The question begs, what are they selling (other than advertising space)? Us ratepayers are the captive audience, surely it couldn't hurt to promote our only national competition team could it?

I'm not sure that anti-Mariners sentiment could be an attraction to potential advertisers.

While it would make sense RE: the lack of front page story, I don't know that it's totally true given it appears the club gave CCEA the scoop to report Luis slightly before they did?

Some videos of the man training circulated on Twitter, looking sharp.

Does anyone know that training base? Is that tuggerah? Looks like someone's backyard with houses in the background lol
