I got my ticket for this ages ago. Then I bought my son a ticket last week, which was emailed to me last week.

Now today I get home and check my emails. I've got an email saying I purchased another ticket today.
It's been emailed to me! Cost of $7.90? Checked my CC statement and I didn't pay for it.

Anyone else? Did they send free tickets to members or something? I was going to phone the club tomorrow
to see if they can shed some light.

heard a rumour that people with $20 tickets, will need to go to ticketek and obtain the new $10 ticket

I don't think they were $20? But as per the CCM site

For fans who have already purchased tickets for Central Coast Mariners vs. Kashiwa Reysol, the Club suggests visiting the Ticketek outlet at Central Coast Stadium to receive a refund on the new ticket price.

Heh, I appreciate the comment style_cafe, but I think you missed the point... She's not keen on missing the game either, when it comes to football, no amount of speaking "woman" will help me if she's set her heart on going to the game ;)
The little one... Well that's a different story... He'd get off to school OK, but it'd take the rest of the week for him to recover from the lack of sleep, so rather a sitter, if we can get one ;)
On the upside, I'm thinking I'll put the spare ticket out there for someone else to use, if they don't have a spare $10...

On a slightly different note - Kashiwa's arrived - I crossed the street in front of their bus at Terrigal this afternoon... Was trying to work out what the polite approach is in that sort of situation.... But could not have spotted a more appropriate placement of the "Go Mariners" banner than above the Spanish restaurant across from the Crown... In their face! ;)

ummm ok..where do I find a girl like that?

Just a bit of fun, I hope the missus enjoyed it & got a laugh

Beats me! I had to travel half-way around the world to find one and at the end of the day, it seems I just got lucky :D

It's all good my friend :) Looks like we've lost the battle for the babysitter but I've won the battle for the game... So now I just need to find someone to give the spare tickets to...

There's an idea, we should start a spare ticket pool... kind of like the coffee thing for people who can't afford it... When you buy a ticket, buy and extra one for someone who can't afford it and donate it to an anonymous pool... surely that'll build numbers :)

Last I saw on 442, someone suggested the Pax was around 4300 I think... On one hand that's still pretty low, on the other hand, it's still heading towards almost a thousand more than the last ACL game I think, a 25% increase soooooo..... ;)

Yep... I'm thinking the glass is half-full ;)

talk is Kashiwa are fielding a full strength team, perhaps after their domestic league 4-0 drubbing they're on notice...damn.

i don't think it matters though we are still up for winning this one

anyone know what time the other game is played? with our game being puched back it's feasible we'll know early what result we'll need. i suspect Arnie won't want to know regardless, but i wouldn't mind the peace of mind!

Should be a few walk ups tonight - Me & the missus are getting ours at the gate. Late kick off would probably put a few off.

Should put everyone behind the goals next to the Yellow Army so we can try to replicate the GF (obviously won't be the same but worth ago).

Yeah I bought two tickets last week. Yesterday I got another 2 tickets, followed by another 5! tickets. all valued at $7.90. Rang ticketek this morning who were near clueless but did tell me the original 2 tickets were refunded and that the 7 new tickets are valid. Not complaining as I have found a use for all 7 tickets now. The more the merrier.

I think you're right - definitely. As I recall we actually started decently, then flowed away after the first half-hour or so, last time - by half-time it was clear enough that we were about to lose.
BUT... Just looking at the AFC site (couldn't quite remember) we definitely didn't field our strongest option that night. WeeMac only came on at the 60th, Bernie at the 70th and Monty at 74.. Rosie and Pedj didn't figure at all... So on top of having a much stronger team tonight, we should also be able to present them with an entirely different-feeling side to last time.... Also, Pellers started in that game and I think Trent started as a Full back...

Oh and, according to the AFC homepage, it was a whopping 173 degrees celcius on the day! So no marvel if the boys weren't at their best! :vhappy:

Seriously, I'm so farken amped for this! I've got butterflies in the stomach like I was playing the game myself. Can't wait. Not very productive at work, sitting here trawling through football sites just waiting fore the time to tick away. God I'm a model employee! :headbounce:

Just on the kick off times, the AFC moved the other match forward an hour to 6:30 so we could have both games kick off at the same time - can't really expect them to go any earlier than that really.

Yep, seems that way. Leandro, Cleo AND Wagner (Who didn't even play against us last time) have come along.

Then again we sent a pretty dodgy backline there for the 3-1 loss. Griffiths was heavily targeted and not up for the challenge.

This time though, We're ready.

3-1 flattered them I thought, matched them for the majority of the game.

An early mariners goal and I can see them pulling key players out of the game to save them for the weekend and it may even open up

Dunno, I'm wondering if they've all but given up on doing well this season and so, are now aiming to smash anything they can in the ACL... It'd be a bit early, arguably, but then, they're 10 points behind in the domestic league.

Anyway, let's see... I don't consider it impossible, at all, for us to win this afternoon... Let's see how the boys have handled having the week off...

I just got pax 4470, so I really hope that a lot of people are deciding to just buy their tickets at the gate.

Strangely though my ticket shows a value of $7.90 - despite paying $10 (plus BF). I've checked with my bank and I've definitely been charged the full amount, so maybe something screwy is going on with the ticket process?
