ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

What's the scenario tonight? If we draw & they win then they go through on GD - Currently both on -1

Guizhou go through if we draw or lose and they win - that's it.

However, they're going to be without Muslimovic tonight (suspended for two yellows). Also, Suwon are undefeated in their last 7 ACL away games and their main GK has only conceded one goal (to McGlinchey) in his 4 appearances in this stage.

A) I think we can beat Reysol. It's still a big task though.

B) I just can't see Guizhou getting up.

So should be history for us. But it's football...

Can't wait.

Confident also, excited too

According to this preview of the game Kashiwa are lacking sufficient combat sense so Mariners it is

"Kashiwa Reysol already gained the first place in group in advance, this game fight against Central Coast Mariners FC, who is still eager for points to qualify to next round, Kashiwa Reysol with less combat sense does not deserve our attention. " http://predict.7msport.com/en/data/912909.shtml

hmmmm..perhaps they are really saying that WE (Central Coast Mariners) have less combat sense than Kashiwa and should be easy beats.....translations can be tricky;)
we'll just have to show them we ARE ready and much better battle hardened than they think

Arnie said he opened up after they scored and played man on man as we had nothing to lose.
that
first half was pure quality from the boys. 2nd half Kashiwa upped the tempo and we seemed to run out of puff which all things considered can be understood. regardless we're through - booyeah! play like we did first half in the round of 16 and we're half a chance methinks. putting chances away that is
