ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Adelaide have released Costanzo, Diego and Salley. As others have said many times, surely we should at least be making enquiries about Costanzo? We need that type of player badly.

Costanzo would be a great addition to our defence. Salley would be a great addition to our mids and Diego would also add strength to our squad...

costanzo yes, diego no, salley is a probably no as well. i'd rather put someone like pedj in the middle - someone who plays a bit of football instead of bustling about and thumping people when they need it. we've already got gumprecht for that. *ducks*

Constanzo would also give our backline a much needed boost in the fabio factor.
Salley could be an alright pick up, but really we need someone special in midfield to fill Jedinak's shoes and Jonas is certainly not that player.

Mark Milligan has agreed to join Shanghai Shenhua for the ACL and maybe even beyond that. Apparently the club has already anounced that he's signed, but there's still nothing yet from the Jets.

Shenhua are also rumoured to be after John Aloisi for a loan stint during the ACL, as part fo a deal between the newly partnered clubs, with 1 or 2 Chinese players possibly being loaned to Sydney for the 2009-10 A-League season.

the aloisi thing makes perfect sense for both clubs - SFC pay his bills and give him a chance to get some fitness and form, so it's no loss to shanghai shenhua. SFC get to see some players in the HAL season. too easy.

from SFCU:
According to Stefan Kamasz in the latest email SFC newsletter, Iain Fyfe, Robbie Middleby, Jacob Timpano, Brendon Santalab, Mike Enfield, Nik Tsattalios, Adam Biddle, Bobby Petta and Beau Busch will all be leaving.

Confirmation as opposed to speculation.
Note to Lawrie: Nothing to see here, move right along please. ;)

According to Mike cockerill, Milligan's deal is for 3 years and the fee is undisclosed at this stage.

Constantine will apparently loan Griffiths out to Beijing Guoan for the ACL matches, with a clause meaning Griffiths won't be allowed to play the Jets and the loan deal will net the club $500,000. There will also be an option for Beijing to buy Griffiths once the loan is complete.

The game on sunday will be Milligan's last for the Jets, and Griffiths may not take the field in a Scum jersey again. What a wonderful thought.

Tarek Elrich must be starting to get nervous that he will be the one without a chair when the music stops.

Only him & Covic left to try and escape Cons clutches now

Jesper Hakansson is also set to have his contract mutually terminated and won't be around for the ACL.
