ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Pete said:Well, hopefully he didn't have to leave the nightclub on Saturday night after being told he was playing on Sunday - like what allegedly happened to Jamie McMaster in v1 GF.tyson said:you have to remember that greg didnt know he was starting for the grand final. and they were his words to me on sunday night.
BTW, Greg and McMaster play a similar style of midfield game from what I've seen of both players. However, Greg possesses an almighty boot when he really gets to belt it, and can pass more deftly.

I think Lawrie sees a lot of promise in Owens; This is one of Lawrie's great gifts, like with Kwassie - I would not have been starting Kwassie in some games where Lawrie did and he proved crucial. I think he believes in G'O current skill but also his future and potential, and thats why he started him.

At present he is in negotiations with Juventus. He wants at least a 2 year contract and because he has been on the bench for a long time. He wants to be loaned out so he can get some game time. The reason he wants two years is that he will then qualify for a European passport. If this does not work out he will come back to Australia. Last week he also held talks with the Gold Coast. Jess is under the same management team as Danny and Clint Bolton.
He is also ordinary!
Australia has a production line of good keepers .... Lawrie will find one, and I also hope he gives Redmayne a chance. Danny was young and after seeing him at Bonnyrigg a risk in V1.
I heard that Adelaide are very close to signing the too....sigh!DJ said:We won't be signing the Elrich brothers

Watch last year's grand final and note the final scoreline.
No.
Kareem said:hope not...but would Newcaslte be able to afford Ahmad ? (they are having trouble affording current players). I mean Ahmad was on a marquee salary at Phoenix (although not worth it) so he would still command a hefty salary!

We still need a bit of pace up front as well as a creative midfielder and a winger who takes on players successfully (sorry kwasnik). Not to mention a right back!
Shopping List
New pacy striker to partner Sasho (of brosque/thompson/burns mould)
Creative midfielder (although hutch and jedinak would do)(not top priority)
Exciting Winger (of Kruse/Fernandez mould)
Right back (some1 who can attack a bit)
Question...i heard Owens can play right back as well...is he any good?
