Johnny Warren Cup young midfield ace chased by Phoenix and Galaxy
Young midfield ace Chris Triantis who has had trials with Monaco and FC Metz scored the winning goal for Sydney Olympic and was voted man of the match in the Johnny Warren Cup final. Phoenix and Galaxy officials were at the match and have been chasing his signature. C'mon Sydney FC, lets not lose another local rising star to the other states like we did with Djite and Tarek.

Reinaldo to K-League
It was announced at last night QR Gala Awards Night that Reinaldo has been released from the final year of his contract to make a move to an unconfirmed K-League side. While no exact transfer figures were mentioned, it is believed to be at least 4 times what Sydney got from the David Carney transfer to the UK....

Wellington Euro Trip signings
Wellington Phoenix will sign Hartlepool's Australian striker Joel Porter as well being in talks with the League One side's veteran defender Robbie Elliott whose previous clubs include Newcastle, Sunderland, Bolton and Leeds.

The Nix are close to signing N.Z. Port Vale's All White right back David Mulligan, and Fulham off-contract Kiwi Simon Elliott.

Ivan Vicelich the All Whites veteran has already indicated to Pignata that he wants to play out his career in Wellington and may sign for the coming season.

D'Apuzzo to Galaxy
The word out from the Galaxy's franchise is that Adam D'Apuzzo has put pen to paper with the new football team. Galaxy put in a big offer for Adam and he couldn't resist. This is a good signing for the new club an a great move for Adam

BOLTON TO GALAXY
The word out from the Sydney FC dressing rooms are that Clint Bolton has put pen to paper with Miron Bleiberg's Gold Coast Galaxy. This is a major loss for Sydney which will have to recruit a keeper soon. Galaxy put in a much better offer than Sydney and he was lured to the new club
good move by sydney bolton is shit
i like bolton. He is usually solid most of the time.

Agreed, Bolton is crap.

I didn't know monkey boy was being linked to the flying circus.

Thomas, any word on him staying with you lot?

wasn't it thomas who was saying to someone recently 'you dont know stuey so how would u know he is leaving the jets?' ? Even though that person knew him and his family rather well? Or was it another Jets fan?

i wouldnt be surprised if he went to sydney. this is the first i have heard of him being linked to the bling tho... i always thought it was melbourne.

Anywhere but Con I think is nearer the truth.

Simon Elliott is reputed to be a virtual cripple nowadays and any side after him would be taking a massive punt. (Think Mrdja with real injuries)

From 442 Rumour Mill:

Mrdja, Offered 1 year deal at AUFC [RUMOUR]

Mar 3 2008 19:52

Nick Mrdja has apparently been offered a one year deal to join Adelaide United as a backup for Paul Agostino in Attack. Its unsure if it will be accepted or if there is a clause in his current Mariners contract.

FourFourTwo Belief Factor: 1/10 - Dodgy knees Nik as back up for Ago? Well, you might get a full season out of the pair of them combined...

Porter to Wellington
After capturing Jon McKain from Romania , Wellington Phoenix are set to pull off their second major signing coup in the form of Hartlepool United attacker Joel Porter.

Fyfe set to be unveiled
Now that Sydney FC have confirmed they will only have a small roster in the new season (most likely 20 players). The exodus may start as early as wednesday. As reports suggest, Ian Fyfe will be unveiled as an Adelaide United player by the end of the week, and is expected to be a rightback/centreback option for Adelaide. Another rumour circling is that Perth and GOld Coast have offered Juninho Marquee positions.

Reinaldo signed with Korean team

The overall standard of the HAL has just gone up after hearing that.

Good riddance to him, he was utter garbage.

Don't know what the rednecks are going to do for strikers next season. From what I hear, they don't have any money despite all the poker machine revenue from the Lions.

442 and their rumour mill should just piss off...... 9 out of 10 of their "rumours" and "sources" and "inside info" and the rest of it are wrong, and they do nothing but spread hearsay and bullsh*t.

Anyone read the latest one about Northern Thunder not being ready in time for the 08/09 season because of some financial wheelings and dealings or something or other.  Amazing how they were a dead cert. two weeks ago but now all of a sudden it's trailed off - FourFourTwo needed a headline??

'Tis a shame because they're actually a really good print mag.

Reinaldo signed with Korean team

somebody warn the korean fans who sit behind the goals... from row M back

"Wheeeennnn tha ball hits your head
and your up in row z
thats Reinaldooooooo"

This will ba a chant we sing every week in the bay next comp, obviously for the opposition striker, not donkey boy

And on the other rumours, Bolton is from Bundaberg, so id see him going to the thunder if they get the go ahead, if not then the goldy.

Duke will play his final years in Croatia, he has family and houses there, and is bollocks anyway, victory wont want him, if they do, we might actually have a worse striker in the league than Allsopp

Dont know who we will pick up, but I hope we get a better striker than Aloisi, and get a solid midfielder and right back soon, not to mention a decent keeper if Danny's appeal is upheld tonight. Half a comp with Trott as 1st choice = bottom of the league
