What Bay should we move to if we do

Can I just have this answered, having not been in the bay for a while due to living 350km away, but is this just change for the sake of change?

Feedback from what I have seen/heard has been people would like a roof, a better view of the game and student pricing in the bay area. 

Student pricing would be a good idea, though its a year late for me   and yeah I guess the roof and view are re-occuring themes in discussion on the forum

My frustration isn't solely from this particular thread/issue. It's months of frustration at watching us AND the club go round in circles.

I agree with you redline but who are the one's who can make a difference? (In the bay at least )

sorry im not tech savvy plus these forums are set up quite well and easy to use..

Wow...once again the Marinators show why we're shit in the stadium. To much bickering, to many chiefs, to many people saying 'well thats shit, we should do this', and really, we all know that at the end of the day the Marinators board will make up their own mind and expect the rest to follow.

I won't be buying a membership into the Marinators buy. Rediculously over priced for absolutely no benefit, so I suppose my opinion isn't worth anything. But if it did, I  wouldn't be moving to Bay 23...I'm not interested in looking directly into the sun for 45 mins during home games. I'm there to watch the game, not be blinded, and get sun burned.

'Oh wow let's get on tv'. THat's the sort of thing I would expect to hear from 12 year olds. I'm there for the football, to support a team that will probably not make the finals this year, with a lacklustre squad and a coach who shows no imagination or flair or at times intelligence.

The supporters should be seen as wanting to work with the club? Yes or No?

If people choose not to be in bay 23 that's fine, it's a choice, but the stadium and the club do not want the main vocal support tucked away in bay 1/2.

Work with the club ? More like the club says you will do as you're told !

And they do not want the main vocal support tucked away in bay 1/2 for exactly the same reasons that the FFA dicked everyone around with east/west side tickets at the GF in '08.

Go to bay 23 if you want but I don't think the club is working with you at all.You're being dictated to for their own selfish reasons imo.

and you're entitled to your opinion, but if you actually thought about it from a business perspective surely you understand their views?  There's no dictatorship, perhaps we should just say f**k the club is that your views?

I understand their views but imo it's their job to get people through the turnstiles not yours.A 7,000 crowd is a 7,000 crowd regardless of where they are sitting/standing and what it looks like on TV.

I mean what would be the difference if they came out and said "there will be no gold memberships on the western side you will have to go to the eastern side" ?

It wouldn't happen obviously because there would be f**kin uproar!

Anyway thats just my opinion.It doesn't really affect me as I'll be on the other side anyway.I'd rather have had the supporters group a bay or two along from us but there you go.

I've said my piece on this subject so I'll just leave it at that and observe the democratic process with interest!

Has anyone thought about the people sitting down in Bay 22. Wouldnt they be upset and tell us to sit down like the episode at newy in season 3 semi-final. I reckon Bay 1/2 would be better but the decision has already been made by the club for Bay 23.

has anyone suggested having singers in bay 1 and having banner/tifo people in 23? it wouldn't be a breakaway group but just a logical solution to keep everyone happy and show other groups how good of a supporter organization we are, me personally, i don't think the marinators hierarchy  could pull it off, but i hope they might have the ambition and drive to take on such a challenge and succeed because that would be nice to see and hear, our presence felt at both ends.

but thats just a dream, in reality the new season is fast approaching and it looks to be defining in our clubs history, players are aging and loosing form or not fulfilling their potential and four have been flicked out, so it looks like a period of transition is on the cards which as we arsenal fans will tell you will not bode well for results and trophies so it is vitally important we get our shit together i dont want to see us getting smashed god forbid second game of the season against bogancastle and we are standing there silent with our hands on our heads, so if we only have one of two choices id have to say 23. both would be sweet ass but.

I've stayed out of this because I intend to stay as mostly a denizen of Bay 7 and will be in the media box a lot anyway.

The plan of the stadium from last year may not of course be the same seating categories as this year.  Does anyone know whether Bay 23 - if a move from 16 occurs and this is sold as reserved seats as per FFA directive - will be bordered by GA bays so that those who do not wish to reserve may also be in the 'The Bay" area (much as Bay 15,17 now)?

Yes, surrounding bays will be GA as far as i'm aware.

Actually bay 16 is the most logical place to put the alco-free bay as it's the furthest bay from any bar or toilet.
... That is, IF the club were ever considering rearranging the bays to accommodate our preference for shade.
