ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Turbulence (then calm sailing, then turbulence) thread.

They're the right noises to be hearing. If Moss responds positively with attacking football and blooding youth, we're moving down the right road.

Will be interesting to see what the players reaction to this is. If they want Moss gone will they not try their best because they sense an opportunity for change??

or

Will they fight to keep him??

"It is understood Moss has a handful of matches to save himself .. "

" .. Tony Walmsley, who will oversee the Mariners football department, is to reinstall the attacking intent of a team .. "

"The former Mariners assistant coach, who has returned to the club after a stint as Sheffield United’s head of recruitment, will be instrumental in attempting to turn the tide .. "

"There is also a strong push from above for the club .. to blood more youngsters in the final phase of this season."

Conflicts at every turn in this article. How can introducing more unblooded youngsters into the team meld with winning games? I just don't see it? It's proving difficult now with the mix of 70% sub 25 and the remaining hard heads to get a winning mentality. Nothing in this article fills me with confidence, I'm afraid.

Liked alot of the article, but feel a little sorry for Mossy even though my patience with his coaching has worn thin. We won't win many games with a young inexperienced side, i think everyone can see a blend of youth, experience and quality is what we need. Unfortunately most of the players we bought in to add quality and excitement just haven't worked out (Mane,Kim,Vernes,) and we haven't replaced them with a like player. To compound things just as we get a decent winger in Fabio then we lose our best forward in Dukey. Having said that...this season has been worse than it should have been, we seem to have lost fight, and there appears to be disharmony in the dressing room. If true, not sure how Mossy can possibly turn things round with the squad he has at his disposal and the fact so many players are not happy (allegedly). Would be happy though if we play attractively and win 3 on the trot but it's highly unlikely.

This weeks game is abig test for Mossy,
almost do or die .Sydney have been inconsistent as well ,even though we got pumped by them last game they didn't play all that well it's just we were shit on the night ,plus the added motivation we gave Arnie played right in to their hands. Its important we involve Fabio but not rely on him to get us a result .
This is the game that can bring Mossy out of darkness of despair into the light of hope if can get one over Arnie. GO MARINERS DOIT FOR YOUR FANS MOSSY DO IT FOR YOUR JOB.

"Moss, who signed a contract extension last August until the end of the 2016-2107 season"
That'll be one big payout if they axe him. :)
I didn't mistype those dates.

Sorry but 'feel sorry for him' firstly he'll be on a contract bigger then most of us put together and when I sometimes can't afford to pay my bills it puts things into perspective. He himself bought in the international bafoons that added absolutely no quality at all in fact took us so far backwards its unbelievable. Look at the best managers in the business and they know who to buy and we go and waste our money on players clearly not right physically or mentally for the A League. Sorry no sympathy right now but lets go out tomorrow and wipe the smirk off Arnie's face.

I don't even know what people are worried about - there's still 10 games to play, that's30 points when we win them all. with other results going our way we can still be premiers

IMO is the reaction you want to see from your owners... and remember this is his second year and given he only missed being head coach last season by six weeks and he was number 2 under GA he has been given a lot more than most other coaches...
