No worries about a sauce for this one - it's straight from the nozzle (http://www.footballaustralia.com.au...STERFOODS-extend-commitment-to-Mariners/83951):

Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce long-term major partner Mars Food Australia have reaffirmed their commitment to the Club, increasing and extending their front of shirt sponsorship via their MASTERFOODS brand until the completion of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season.

In a show of faith in the Mariners’ on and off field future, Mars Food Australia have made a significant increase in their financial pledge to the Club, with the locally based but internationally recognised company eager to build upon their alliance with the Central Coast’s only professional sporting franchise.

Mars Food Australia directly employs overs 300 Central Coast people in a variety of roles, with the company’s state of the art factory based just kilometres from the Mariners’ training and administrative headquarters in Tuggerah, New South Wales.

Through their MASTERFOODS brand, Mars Food Australia have been a Central Coast Mariners principle partner since the Hyundai A-League’s inaugural season, and via a number of innovative and unique activations the company’s sponsorship with the Club has since grown to become one of the most recognisable and effective in the competition.

Central Coast Mariners Commercial Manager, Mr Grant Cremer, said that the Mariners have helped MASTERFOODS generate significant brand awareness and media exposure nationally since the company commenced as front of shirt sponsor just prior to the Club’s 2013 Hyundai A-League Championship winning season.

“The MASTERFOODS brand and the Central Coast Mariners Football Club have become synonymous over the past 15 months with fans and media alike generating a wide range of MASTERFOODS inspired content over a variety of mediums,” Cremer said. “For instance, the light-hearted skits produced by the likes of Fox Sports’ B-League boys and Santo, Sam & Ed have certainly enhanced the fundamentals of the partnership, enabling us to deliver increased value to MASTERFOODS.”

“With Mars Food Australia now significantly increasing their financial commitment to the Mariners, it is up to everyone at the Club to continue thinking of new and distinctive ways to promote the MASTERFOODS brand not only to the Australian football family, but Australian sports fans in general.”

“But as of today I am delighted to confirm that the much-loved MASTERFOODS sauce bottles, and the MASTERFOODS blimp, will remain important and celebrated features of our Hyundai A-League match days at Gosford’s Bluetongue Stadium,” Cremer said.

Mars Food Australia’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr Andrew Poll, said the locally based company is proud of the long-standing relationship with the Central Coast Mariners.

"We believe in bringing Australian families together to share great food and strong connection, likewise our partnership with the Central Coast Mariners helps both organisations bring the local community together in our wonderful environment," Poll said.

“Our partnership with the Central Coast Mariners has developed significantly over the past 15 months, with our brand becoming iconic with the Club’s supporters and Hyundai A-League followers."

“We look forward to working with the Mariners to drive new ideas to football fans and media in order to strengthen the wellbeing of families and the community through this relationship. It’s an exciting time to be involved in football in Australia and on the Central Coast, and MASTERFOODS is proud to be playing a part," he said.

In addition to their range of MASTERFOODS products, Mars Food Australia today offers products to the Australian public in categories as diverse as mustards, marinades, relishes, sauces, herbs and spices, pasta and stir-fry sauces, and rice, through its DOLMIO, KANTONG, and UNCLE BEN’S brands.

The company also enjoys significant success in the international market, exporting its Australian made goods to New Zealand and throughout Asia Pacific.

This Saturday’s F3 Derby between Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets at Gosford’s Bluetongue Stadium will be presented by MASTERFOODS, with a range of activations in and around the venue planned to promote one of the Club’s key partners.

Dunno if I'm alone but... Did anyone notice the charm offensive going last night?
They thanked the fans, at least twice before the game, for showing up and supporting - that's the club management...
Brings a glimmer of hope that they may have realised that they've been walking around with their for in their mouth for the last couple of months.
Assuming that's the case... I very much approve :) nice to feel appreciated..

New CEO likely looking to engage community a little more.
Shame about the appreciation from the players... Oh, wait, there was none.

I could not believe the behaviour of the (majority of the) players after the game. What was with the half-arsed thank you to the crowd before heading off??? Seemed like a pre-determined thing... I was dumb-struck! I couldn't believe what I just saw... especially after beating our biggest rivals. It's not as though the crowd didn't do their part during the game.

Good article on the Roar today about sharing stadiums with RL & RU teams... its only us [and we still have some RL played and other uses] and the Piss Ants that have HHHMMMMmmmm unaffected surfaces for most of the season and with RL looking at some time into the future expanding to 18 teams and within 10 years football being 12 to 14 teams... add the Australia cup it is easy to see getting a smooth playing surface will be difficult ... adding particular value IMO to getting the rights to Bluetounge for National teams other than the Socceroos to play on and train at the COE...
