Wow.....you boys are normally so uptight and politically correct and never critical (apart from disgraces like Adelaide 2.0 loss with spence and Macca and Wellington this season) its strange to hear your going off especially over a game when we weren't that bad....we have been heaps worse many times this season!!!
BTW the numbers looked good on tv so well done to the boys that went!!!
My opinion:

Danny...solid but would have liked some effort on the Thompson goal however futile.
Porter....absolutely clueless defensively BUT adds so much to our attack that i'd still pick him over Clarky everytime.
Wilko....not his worst effort this year by a long shot. He IS positionally suspect but for mine he's a right back so what do you expect. He did some good things this game and is coming back into form.
Boogs...slow as a wet weekend but quality. I belive we need a player with pace to play alongside him.
Bojic....still raw at times but a real goer. Another good performance and had a good goal disallowed.

Caceras..he was up for this game and did pretty well. Didn't outshine Tommy (as most sage pundits might have guessed beforehand).

Hutcho...not sure what the winging is about. He played pretty well.

Jedi...top game as usual...cant agree with Brett that Hutcho was better but he does give the ball away too much but this bloke truly does deserve Gumps starting spot as he is a champion and gets picked on merit and not favouratism like some people in the past.

Macca...scored perfectly legit goal with a quality finish.  Not his best game but still reasonable effort.

Simon...would have kept him on myself. Usual handful.

Sasho...solid but not spectacular.

Subs:  Gumps...didn't look match fit (or was buggered from Yoof match) but showed what we are missing. Give him half a game next week and then start him for the rest of the season.
I'd be the first to tell you if he's not firing.

Nik...showed glimpses but not match fit.  Looking forward to him carving teams up at the busniness end.

Just got back from a couple of weeks overseas and just sat down tonight to watch the recording of the game.

I thought we did very well in the first half and were the better side.

Although we will never know, I suspect if our disallowed goal was correctly given, we would have went on and won the game. After that incident though, we never threatened their goal at all.

On balance I think the better side won.

Regarding some of the criticism of certain players here on the forum, everybody has the right to their view regardless of whether or not that view is tainted, biased, bigoted or whatever. As others have said, long after all these players have gone we'll all still be yellow and living and breathing the greatest club in the land. Every supporter who pays well hard earned has everyone right to state whatever opinion they like as long as it doesn't fall outside the rules of the forum.

The day that stops is the day we may as well close the forum.
