And because I don't have the coaches phone number and get all the inside knowledge (wtf??) I know f*ck all about the team?? Mate, I think you might want to take the rose colored glasses off and _step back_ from the whole situation and try and analyse it as neutrally as possible.
My post clearly said you DON'T need any inside knowledge to see that Hutch is a driving force of the team dynamic, on and off the pitch. And he hates the f**king scum, and chose our club over other offers, what more do you want from his attitude? It's piss-poor because he doesn't like your criticism? You don't like my criticism...
And, as I said, I'm not arguing all your points here (doesn't mean I agree with all of them), I'm predominantly arguing with YOUR lack of neutrality. You start your analysis of Hutcho's performance in this very thread with "as for our mate Hutcho". That's not neutral. That's a pre-meditated position.
*gets deep for a second*
To be honest mate, I don't care how you support the team. I've long realised that there's no measurements for how 'passionate' supporters are, and no one way to support the team. For example, I'd bet there's kids up in the nosebleeds that live and breathe this team more than you or I ever will; and Marinermum has been to more games than just about anyone, but I find it harder to picture Eggy living without the CCMFC than her. It means something different to everyone, and everyone supports it in a different way. You get off on being negative and critical - that's totally cool. My crew is more 'balanced' and that works for us.
But I feel sorry for someone like kanewillow in this thread who gets harmed because of the reflection back on the group. Someone who can't produce a song when they cop the obligatory 'give us a song' chant, but won't hesitate to run down to the fence to abuse our club's captain crosses a line for me. That's my opinion. The can of worms I knew this would open was, I guess, to make you think about that. If you disagree and go on as you have, that's cool with me tbh. It doesn't affect my enjoyment at all and I hope there's no hard feelings.

We will be paying customers long after he (and the rest of the players have gone)
Totally agree. To clarify, this is the point I was making. I feel Hutcho's contribution to the team dynamic mentally is an extension of the McKinna vibe on the pitch, and his presence DOES add to our 3-point ability in ways not always as obvious, as, say, Mile's. That's my opinion.

Then what is a balcony for?
