ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. This is my fear. Very few os managers have done well with the Socceroos. Guus got us to 2006 with a very decent team that played reasonably well. Pim qualified through Asia easily and was close to getting a similar result to Guus but couldn't recover after the first match and his style had plenty of critics. Venables probably had the best team in 1997 - but we won't mention what happened there.We’ll probably get Tony Vidmar as interim coach then after a world wide search end ip with a Dutchman…
The rest of the OS managers over the years have been pretty crap have been pretty crap.
I'm not convinced by any of the Australian managers touted.

Not in charge of an A League team (i don’t think any A League guys can do it and won’t want too)

We can't get more people playing in our area. There just aren't enough fields. Meanwhile a lot of cricket grounds in the area are being used sparingly each weekend for AFL. If they were used for football there could be 2 or 3 more fields used from 7am to 5pm each Saturday and Sunday.
