ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Calls for Botic, Jakolis, Segegic and many A-league young guns to be around this socceroos team.
And Teague & Velupillay already cut through.

Have a think though and it’s a bit frustrating that The Mariners followed by Adelaide have not really been mentioned about turning the tide on giving significant game time to youngsters and the flow on effect we are seeing now in the A-league and now in the National setup success in 20’s / 23’s & first team.

We often got mentioned on minutes played by under 23’s but The Mariners have pushed other A-League clubs to follow suit and now even the big 3 clubs have a lot of game time for young players paving the way for extremely experienced players when they come to their international duties.

And would we even know Teague and Velupillay’s name if it wasn’t for the likes of The Mariners or Adelaide.

Victory and Sydney would still have 19 of 20 squad players over the Age of 27.

China have given citizenship to a Brazilian, to play for the Chinese National team. So now he's a citizen of a Communist country. Now I've heard it all. Shaking my head in disbelief.

Excellent first half but less so in second half as China came back though hardly threatening.Teague did play well.Irvine's goal was a cracker.Miller had a mixed game as usual but seems to have that right wing back position his for now.Behich again showed his experience and keeps getting picked.

how the hell have Japan not scored? 78% possession, 90% pass accuracy and 10 shots but only 1 on target. KSA have had 1 shot all game at 80mins.
Hit the post in the first 15 with a cracking shot but were over hitting some passes afterwards before I flipped over to Socceroos start.

Saudi are strong and fast on the counter. Were trying some back post crosses we need to be careful of but the Japanese are so good on the ball you aren’t getting it off them easily. They use both feet and swivel the hips and the feet so beautifully
