ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Socceroos thread.

Rowles on for behich 86 mins to late.
Rowles was a terrible sub. He's a good defender but offers nothing going forward in general play.

I think overall we showed more intent than we did in the previous match but thats a very low bar. Results so far obviously horrible and China is a must win game. Japan needs to be kept to a respectable margin so the GD damage they're doing to others works in our favor.

Qualifying isnt out of reach but has the potential to get away from us especially if the Saudis and either Bahrain or Indonesia become dominant over the other lower sides. Best case for us is they're taking points off each other.

If only Arnold had used the easier games to blood young kids rather than keep putting his favourites in the shop window to engineer moves for them.

Great news about last night is he is now 1 game closer to the sack. Wonder if any of his media mates will start to turn. He is a protected species like Rudan.

Really think this line up could get the job done, just put the every eligible CCM 22-23 player in there, couldn't do any worse!

Duke - Cummings
Silvera - Nis - Max - Nestor
Behich - Kye - Circati - Miller
Ryan

If fit, Bos/Faz for Behich, Robertson for Max and McGree for Cummings

My take out from the game was that Niz when he came on looked to be completely at home. More so than any other midfielder.
The players around him need to be aware of when hes getting himself into space. There were many times he had a mile of space around him while the backs sat deep. The passing lane was open yet they didnt take it.

Whilst Duke is ex CCM I wouldn’t be concerned if I never seen him in the green and gold again.

While I broadly agree, every time I watch the Socceroos I always feel like Duke is literally the least of the problems of that team. At least he gets on the board moderately often compared to anyone else and puts the effort in - he's not great at that level, but there's half a dozen I'd shuffle around first.
