ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Then surely you'd be cheering me or whoever comes 2nd on to win the FA Cup, just so another Europe spot goes to a league finisher??  ;)

Every now and then you get a season where the mid-ranked sides are closer to the drop zone than the top. This season looks like being one, as were 92/93, 96/97 and 01/02.

In Spain, 74/75 and 81/82 were good examples of this- in '75 only 8 points separated 2nd and 17th. Italy had this sort of phenomenon in 92/93 (an unusally high scoring season, and only 9 points separated Juventus in 4th and Fiorentina in 16th) and 93/94 (when just 6 points separated 6th and 15th).

Also look at the Fiorentina side that got relegated in 1993- Batistuta, Baiano, Effenberg, Michael Laudrup...

Beaten you once this year. Beaten Chel$ki at the Bridge. No reason why we can't beat you lot too. Never mind the fact that we've drawn twice to Stoke and will surely draw again to several of the bottom ten.

Last time at Trafford pal - you got no chance.  The useless c*nt's (Gerrard) face at 3.00 says it all.
