I've never been more proud of my team.

We had every right to drop our heads and wonder what we needed to do to put the ball in the back of the net, but we didn't and kept fighting all the way. We deserved to win by three.

I've watched the replay three times and IMO we didn't have a bad player.

The Marinators were fantastic and so loud. Great to see LM come over with the rest of the team and clap the away supporters at the end.

The walk back to Central & the KB was brilliant. "3-0 and you f**cked it up" chant was gold.

For those taking Danny to task, pull your head in. He was beaten by three great strikes, end of story.

Only true to some point. They were all great strikes. However, a good keeper always knows where he is and is constantly making small corrections. He was too far off his line for Bridge's effort - though it had to be a peach to beat him. The second goal the shot was taken around the D but Danny is still just inside his near post - if he was properly positioned easily saved. The last goal was stunner and to be honest I have not seen a good angle to judge Danny on.

Most people might think that spectacular keeping means good keeping. Often it means poor positioning. I suspect JC would be particularly upset with the second goal,

I'm wtaching the 2nd half replayed on Fox on Sunday arvo and it's games like this that are gonna bring more people through the turnstiles. After the dirge that was served up two weeks ago against the Sheep Shaggers this game has completely restored my faith in the Mariners and the A-League.

I hope that we get a huge crowd against Adelaide, inspired by this sensational game.

We should never have been 3-0 down TBH, the number of chances we created in the 1st half, it should have been 3-3.

That squad tonight is missing Heff, Boogs, Clarkie, Owens and Gumps - and Nik is only 1/2 fit at best.

If we can limp into 3rd or 4th, and get a full strength side out, we can beat anyone.

Kosmina post game crying was priceless.
Man up pussy, Melbourne were s.hit last week u got lucky. Tonight the better team were down 3 nil and came back because you can't coach. It's been a month now of s.hit Kossie, give it another month and you that top 2 finish will be out of reach. You're a f**king hack of a coach and tonight showed it.

Missed the game last night, got back late and no-one had thought to record it for me, and then the missus decided to watch The Wedding Planner (where's the vomiting emoticon gone?).  Got to see quick bits and pieces during the ads.  Sydney up 3 nil, and I managed to see Matty's 1st goal.  Next ad break still 3-1 and running out of time, I resign myself to it being all over.  Next break 3 all couldn't believe it.

Well done boys.  But how often can we play catch up from 3 nil down?

Oh ... and I agree Kosmina is a dickhead.  That stuff he did at the end of the game when Porter had the throw was crap and he should dealt with.
