The fact that we got 15k when there was only a remote possibility of ADP playing shows that people will come out for a marquee.

Yes, its the "theatre" crowd rather than nailed on football people but everyone has to start somewhere.

Winning and being the best club side in the country isnt motivating people to come back, I think the club needs a "name" to kick start attendances.

Sad but true, the mentality of the rugby league crowd is that being the best at sokkah means it really is a tiny sport, how couldn't it be if the humble central coast is the best in Australia??

Bring a big name and they feel important for a day

Make a day of it, play the youth league or women as a pre-match entertainer, cheerleaders!, brass band, tractor pull, dancing horses and monkeys. Everyone likes monkeys!
And all of the above will cost less than a marquee!

Takes a long time to build a culture. Keep winning premierships with youngsters up against the big names and it will happen.
I'd rather see more local players though.

if ever we should splash on a star, make it Messi or RvP, Ozil. . . . sneijder is up for contract
heskey ADP, and especially ONO have been great for the season where the a league grew up,
