ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

should the marinators be in a better bay....

has to be bay 1 plenty of space for flags standards banners far enough away from the gold class...

For season the plan would be to move non alcohol bay so bay 2 would be central.

For teda match bay 3 should be the plan

For some reason Im thinking the club/Stadium will either can the idea or not get back to us at all.
We should do it anyway.

  • Even if a group of 10 or more "scouts" were to test it out as a reconnaissance mission, I reckon it'd work.

I sat with friends near there recently and got sick of "mariners- clapx3" being the only chant (every time we got a corner). The alternative chants the 4 of us started were well received. With repetition i think there's potential for some "audience participation" in that area.

    Things to consider, though:

    - at this match at least, the alcohol-free bay is directly adjacent. Anyone choosing to sit there would be doing so to shield themselves (or their families) from drunken behaviour. There is a risk of a Newcastle-semi-type situation if their view is blocked by people standing, or if they witness excessive drinking, swearing, etc.

    - You'd have to arrive very early and stake claim on the back few rows. Other GA ticket-holders will want to sit in that bay. Depending on the weather the back few rows, under cover, are always taken first. Whether or not you care about cover, if you don't get there first there'll already be people sitting at the back.
(not a good look to file-in and stand in fromt of them 10min before K/O)

Indeed. Do it anyway. It is our option. But no need to not run it by them. Only due to non alcohol bay.

exactly why bay 1 is a must as we would not be in anyones view

The aim is for the club to move the non alcohol, not for us to squish ourself into a solitary bay next to the non alocos. They would not want to be next to us either 1 or 3 I would assume. Non alcohol bay is easily movable down the other end of the western side for the season.

I say bay 3-2-1 should be our bays to aim to fill, starting with 2. But this week hit 3. Non-alcos can move to the golden seats vacated.

I suspect the GGA (or flare chuckers as we know them) went back up the F3

That sentence did not make sense. Full stops and punctuation are your friend. So, you are saying that the people who threw the flare, should go to the club after the game? So they can carry on drinking? Or do all members of the public who are part of any shenanigans should go to the club?

what I am saying is the people in bay 16 who threw the flare and all the other idiots in bay 16 who laughed and carried on should not be allowed in the stadium at all. Basically i am saying the whole of the marinators should not go to another bay but should just watch the game from home or at the club or until they grow up and start acting like adults.

Comments noted, processed and COMPLETELY IGNORED for the puerile, pathetic, and unadulterated bollocks they are.

Krusty, I am almost 41, absolutely an adult and I am VERY PROUD to bring my 11 year-old son into Bay 16. His Mum wasn't that keen, but IT IS WHERE HE WANTS TO BE. He saw the flare, I moved him to safety and we watched the game. I did not go back to the Club, I then drove for 3 hours to take him home to Maitland. Care to take your comments back, please???

If you don't like it, crack a Pimms and Diet Lemonade and wait for the Western Force to be relocated to Central Coast Stadium when they go broke at Subi. Leave us Football fans alone. It is NOT us that should re-assess if we should attend the Stadium; have a good look at yourself.

We were only talking about this this afternoon. We couldnt remember more than 4 or 5 people ever having been ejected from Bay 16 in 4 seasons.

Somewhat less in 4 years than most NRL games.

Methinks there really isnt a problem here

Krusty, you are either a WUM or a tool (or possibly both)

Ok maybe i was a bit harsh, but i do feel the flare was uncalled for, we dont need it at our games.Point taken about how many people in bay 16 that have been kicked out. Auburn Mariner the flare was just in front of you, if you seen who had it or done it you should of told security as a responsible adult as you are.
