ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Doig came as being injury prone; hope this isn't a bad sign for the season. The good news is it makes McKinna's task easier in putting out an attacking team instead of a defensive one. I feel an old fashioned back to the sixties 4-2-4 coming on  ;)

                                            Vukovic
                                  Porter Boogs Wilko Heffernan
                                        Bojic Hutchinson
                              McGlinchey McAllister Simon Kwasnik
                                  :innocent:  :eek:verhead:

We played 4-2-4 at Killarney All Age 2s last year and it worked quite well. We conceeded plenty of goals but on most occasions scored more. Made for an exciting and nervewracking season. We also had one Jared Reid playing centre mid who is was and is this season one of the best premier league players going around. He was everywhere!

Perhaps our new caretaker coach should take note for the remaining games..

Mike Cockerill has to be one of the few Journalists in Sydney to actually get the game and what it means to the supporters

article

"Referee: Ben Williams.
TV: Live on Fox Sports 3.
Head to Head: Mariners 5, Jets 6, drawn 6.
In Gosford:  Mariners 3, Jets 1, drawn 4.
Betting: Mariners $1.95, Jets  $3.65, draw $3.35."

So When we win tonight it will be

Head to Head: Mariners 6, Jets 6, drawn 6.

Isnt there something in the book of revelations about this event?

Petrovski's been running his mouth off again...

Petrovski primed to sink mariners

I agree with him, we did make a mistake in not re-signing him and I'm convinced that he will score tonight - but end up on the losing side...

A 2 year deal for a 34 year old on the money he was demanding would not have been a good business decision IMO

If he scores he scores, as GVE said before the GF "he ain't the sharpest tool in the shed", then he goes and signs him 12 months later lol

It will be 2-0 ...so he won't score

Hey, just noticed that Caceres hasn't been listed, and didn't play last game either.

Has he picked up an injury or out of favour with Lawrie big time?

Out of favour for a few reasons
imho- we need him atleast on the bench.
His flair and fresh legs will finish off any team in the a-league.

like he has off the bench for us when?

The game against Newcastle on Boxing Day comes to mind when he turned the game in our favour.

one swallow don't maketh a summer

besides, sash had already equalised before he came on so the tide was already turning

and one could argue that matt simon made the bigger impact off the bench that day as he scored the winner
one swallow doesn't make a summer...hmmm interesting you say that
the 1st time i heard that phrase was last night from my coach...know what he was talking about?
Our chances vs the Jets
I said we should win considering our performance last week...both situations are similar.
I'm gonna stick with pro-mariners and pro-caceres
Definately should be on the bench instead of mrdja IMHO
Thank God I took Caceres out my fantasy team before season started!

I think Caceras and Sash came up against the no dick head policy and both are/were too thick and/or big headed to realise it.

Team unity is more important than any one player.
