It's not all bad. I'm sure most would have settled for 5 points from the first 3 games.Defensive structure looks good now and it's promising that even without Doig we have still gone ok. Huke still to come back so that will give us options in that DM pozzie. Problems are in the final third of the pitch. For me Travis has to come in to give us a bit more urgency in the midfield and provide some more creativity. From what i have heard whenever he has come on he looks the part so not sure why he hasn't been given a go. Elrich needs more games under his belt so i'd leave him there, at least for 4 more games or so.He does have proven quality so is worth perservering with. Wee Mac has been great so far and will get better, no question about leaving him in. Just leaves a few guys to fight for that last spot in the mid, but i'd probably stick with Hutch for his defensive qualities. Up front Matty is doing way too much work, above and beyond what his role should be. He'll be stuffed before long if he has to keep that up.All been said tho', this will be a tight comp and our greatest asset will be our competitive squad. With all the yellows flying around everyone will have a chance to stake their claim. C'mon Mariners!
