I can see a zip-zip result here if we can keep Smeltz quiet. None of our "strikers" are playing well enough to put anything past Danny on his "home" pitch.

Apart from Sainsbury, isn't this what we played 2nd half last week? If it is, then let's go with it, best half we have played all season.
Don't want to see Kwassie start, he's much better subbing on later.

Agree there Spike. I'm not a Kwassie fan (waits for the vitriol hurling here) but Kwassie is heaps more effective when coming off the bench against a tiring defence. I'm still uncertain of McBreen as AM, but Pellegrino has failed so far so we need to try something different without causing too much disruption everywhere else on the park.

Gotta give Arnie some cred ... Musty last week played 60 mins in the Youth League ... given our form this year most would have rushed straight back into the first team... Arnie is giving him two weeks in the youth team to ensure he is fully recovered... that is what I call look after a players long term interest...

Mate not sure if you have noticed but we have been keeping a lid on this sort of stuff for a while now. Comments like this don't really help and it's kinda like waving a red flag in front of a bull to some people! If you do have any problems with 'vitriol hurling' or abusive posts or etc, please use the 'Report' button which is at the bottom of every post, and a moderator will have a look at it.

Back to topic! I agree with what you said about Kwas and McBreen. Kwas better off the bench and not sure about McBreen? As has been mentioned a few times by others, I think the main problem is CAM so whoever gets that role needs to step up.

Midfielder I've gotta agree there, rushing a player back in from long term injury won't help anyone - remember before the youth league was running he might have been given 10 minutes off the bench at the end of a game, but how he can ease back in with more match time at the youth level.

Nah I don't think it is intended to be mean to Danny, I think it was done a few times when we played last and it just wasn't the best timing...

if we are winning 2-0 and there are only seconds to go can we yell it out then not to be mean but for fun hope he will see the funny side of it.

After a rather slow start to the season thus far we really need to pull out our very best game tomorrow.I`m sure we can make it an even longer flight home for the Glory. My prediction 2-1 us.
The starting line-up I`d like to see would be:

-------------Ryan------------

Pedj---Sainsbury--Dutchy---Rose

------------Griffo-----------

Wee-mac----------------McDonald

------------Simon------------

Bernie----------Duke

Bench:Bozanic,Hearfield,Baird,Passfield

Note:
Porter gets the shove because of last weeks mistake.Even though I felt sorry for him, this is the big time & mistakes like that are unforgivable.

McBreen & Kwassie join Porter in the stands mainly because they are senior players & should know that under-performing as they have won`t be tolerated.

Oly on the splinter for the first time(I Think). He needs to realise that his position isn`t guaranteed with some shockers over the last few months.

I`d promote Duke as an incentive to other yoof players. He did extremely well against GC last year & he has a good understanding with Bernie from last season. He`ll have something to prove to.

I wonder where on the table we would be sitting if we didnt play that last trial game against the random club team in NZ that beat us...
